Cell Reset Bug happened again and reinstall a possible fix ?

If I deinstall and then reinstall Fallout 4 via Steam, and delete certain mods, which messed up my playthrough, will the glitch be gone?

I have not had it happen to me in a long time.

 

If it is still happening, reinstalling the game will not help, as it is due to certain mod's editing cells that caused it.

Not using the mods responsible for the reset big is the only way to prevent it.

The cell reset thing is a bug in the game's engine and still hasn't been dealt with by Bethesda. It has to do with the way they implemented containers to respawn their content all through the game. The only way to counter this is by never storing stuff inside containers that 'belong' to the game but always in containers you have added yourself.

 

The same thing happens to Power Armour, because a PA frame is just a container that holds Power Armour parts.

 

To get rid of Power Armour resetting itself, use the Buildable Power Armour Frame mod. It lets you scrap a PA frame to then build one of your own on which the reset has no effect as it's a 'container' you've built yourself ;)

 

Sure, re-installing the game and deleting mods will get rid of the 'bug', but such drastic measures aren't needed...

I am getting that reset bug again also. ( when ever I can get the damn thing running again) The nice side effect to the bug is that you can pick up respawned ammo. I've picked up 3 mini nukes from Olivia alone, along with more swag from the duffle bag & steamer trunk. I'm stockpiling the nukes for much later on in the game.
