Just want to tell a funny thing about censorship.

Wrote a PM with someone and noticed one word was censored BUT I am german and the used word is not at all "dirty" .

It´s the german word for "fickle". I had to google this word, so I am not sure if it is the right one.

The censored word is part of the german word and is slang for "masturbation" .(not sure if this one is censored too) It is also part of the german word for "rotary engine", and part of the name of the inventor of this motor.

I guess it would be impossible to tell apart different languages. So, for me it is funny at the moment - if it is without consequences.

I am not sure if this has been suggested, but would it possible to make a new sorting category "scenery" or "nature" in the images section? I just wanted to look for some nice scenery pictures in Oblivion, but getting beyond all the "skimpy/slutty bunny-girl-child in a silly pose picture" is nearly impossible.

There is a category "aesthetics" but apparently the above mentioned screenshots are considered that too.... :wink:

I've added a new category to Oblivion mods, but it will require any existing images to be moved into that category by their uploaders. Future images put in that section can be filtered though. :)

Yesterday i bought premium, but today i recognize my download speed capped at 100kbpersec

i tried it at vortex, mo2 and browser (chrome)

i tried different download services

my location is in russia, perm

my internet speed is 500 mb\s download and 900 mb\s upload

Need to ask if it is possible to stop the popular stories video thing from appearing in the bottom right corner every time the page loads? What makes it worse is that I can't close it until it has been up for a few seconds.

 

I have been trying to mod Skyrim and seeing it pop up so much is giving me a headache that is further amplified due to the spinning gun at the beginning of the fallout mod portion.

I specifically disabled my adblocker for this site as I didn't have money to support it and the normal ads where fine but the video actually causes me pain and it would suck to have to block ads on this site again until i can pay some money.

 

Addendum: I also didn't get the impression that they even got money from the 'popular stories' video

 

Addendum 2: Supporter status is cheap and for a lifetime and removes ads forever. Does this include the stories video popup?

Hi Nexus Team,

 

It is a bit difficult to find out if this is the right site for my post, and still I´m not sure. So I start, and you kick me if I am at the wrong place.

Actually it is a very simple post. It is nothing but a plain THANK YOU!.

You managed to give all this wonderful modder a platform where they can show their work to a really huge audience.

It´s a joy to stoll through the different forums and sites and to notice that the majoity of the people take care about the way they talk to each other. Its not always love, peace and harmony but at last it all comes down to Gaming. That is also owend to the moderatores (and since i read all the posts in the "All newbies read this before posting" and the "Terms and Policies " that is not an easy job). People should more often honoure what you have established. There must be a really big KUDOS-button.

Hope my english is readable.
