Skyrim - Mod Detectives Thread

Hey, I've recently downloaded a crap ton of spell mods since I've never played a pure mage in any TES game before, and I thought since I've exhaustively played every other class archetype, I thought Skyrim would be the best place to try it out. I'm loving it so far, especially with the scaling spell damage and better perks through SPERG and what not.

A while ago, I was watching a video, I can't remember for the life of me which video it was, or what it was about. I do remember however, that the character in the vid was female, and near the end of the vid, she was casting this seemingly lightning based spell at a mammoth. When cast, the spell looked like magical runes/inscriptions that appeared in the space around the mammoth in quick succession and zapped it. If memory serves, each rune zapped the mammoth once.

In the vid, the spell did barely any damage, but looked absolutely orgasmic and I've been trying to find it since I decided to play a mage. Not one bit of luck, can't find it for the life of me.
I'd seriously appreciate if one of you fine forum-goers could shed some light, or just straight up find it for me. Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for some stand alone/modluar magic mods that focus on improving Necromancy/Conjuring. Something that improves the survivability and usefulness of minions and perhaps the variety, but isn't a massive compatibility buster like skyre. Anyone happen to have any they would suggest for such a purpose?

Well it's not necessarily modular, but Grimoire - spell package is standalone, as far as I know very compatible, and fantastic.

That does indeed look fun, thanks for the suggestion. On a side note, anyone know if there's a mod that makes bolt quivers invisible? they drive me nuts since sneaking makes them hover like a foot in the air off my back. (i tried a mod to adjust their position, but it doesn't work well with my body it seems).

Well Ishara's mod has multiple positions (closer to body) for the quiver so 1 of the positions might work for you.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for an immersive mod that will add item wear to Skyrim, forcing me to use a grindstone or workbench to "repair" my gear as it gets damaged from combat: mainly focused on weapons and armour but one that covers all equipment would be ok. thanks for your help

Is anyone aware of a mod that makes a craftable one-handed Rueful Axe instead of the usual two-handed version? I've tried two other mods (listed below), but they didn't quite work out. I'm making a barbarian type of character, and I love the way that the axe looks. I'm hoping to equip it with a shield. I appreciate any help that anyone can offer! Thank you in advance.

The Mods

1. Rueful War Axe (Didn't work.) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53735/?

2. Craftable One-Handed Rueful Axe (Didn't look right/was too small.) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12836/?

Why didn't the first one work? Because of clipping? I'm not sure if ghosu is still modding but you could request a slightly bigger version of 2.

I forgot the name of it, but there was a mod in which changed the way enemies shot arrows. I remember reading in the description:

"...I was tired of moving left and right just to dodge the arrows..." or something along those lines. It was released within the month I believe, but I cannot for the life of me find it.
