REALISTIC TIME.

Hello. So i'm looking for a mod that makes in-game time the same as IRL time. So one minute in the game is acually one minute and so on. I have searched some myself but didn't find anything usefull so that's why i'm asking for help.

A Matter of Time has an option in it to choose real time instead of game time.

I haven't used that part of it myself so don't know how detailed it is.

Something I thought was interesting. I remember on one play through I kept seeing 'packrolls' I dont remember exactly what their name was. Basically it was a backpack type item that would sling over the shoulder like a quiver and fortified carry weight.

I see a lot of normal on-the-back packs, but I thought it looked pretty cool. Especially considering I like using capes and cloaks. When I wear a cloak I see the pack on my back but the straps dont exist. I actually wear a cloak when its cold and a normal pack tends to bunch it up on your ribs. Having this 'rollpack' fits together better with the cloaks.

So rambling aside, does anyone know where I can find that mod? I would really like to add them to the craft list and to common loot.

Thanks.

Edit: Oh, and im also trying to find a mod akin to Requiems combat system. I remember from using requiem that damage was psychotically high and just about every blow was critical. I found another mod that does something similar but it doesnt have the same armor effect. In Requiem heavy armor made the player a tank. Which is realistic because plate armor offers a great deal more protection. Pretty much, I want a mod with really high damage and the armor effects from Requiem.

Thanks.

I love my book collection. I always hesitate to start a new character because I'd want to collect all the books again. Someone suggested I use Familiar Faces to transfer the inventory over: it turns out FF does not preserve items such as books. Leads:

Is there another mod that can bring an inventory of books into a new game the way Familiar Faces can bring an inventory of weapons?

Is there any way to get a hold of what I'm calling the Which Books Read character info? If I could make a new character with the old "already read" the same books, I could easily know what to pick up in qasmoke.

Is there a convenient way to get a hold of the IDs for all my books so I could copy them into a .bat file (I think that's what it is)?

Any info on any of these would be good, or if you have another idea that leads to preserving my characters' library, by all means.

Edit: still interested in an easier and more general solution if one exists, but what I did for now is use coc qasmoke to see all books and skill books, and make a list of all those with the Read icon by them.

Vir, there are a few library mods. It brings a true library to Skyrim. This next one also has a lot of books from previous TES games.

This is one : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32558

But I am sure I've seen a few other reviews.

Yes, I've seen those, too. Thank you for the reply. I could get one of those and rob it of the particular books. That's what I'm planning to do with coc qasmoke. I already made the list. But maybe something else will come up.

Or maybe after I have finished collecting all the books, someday, I'll get a library mod and rename it for a character, and then not collect anymore.

Hello. I'm looking for a mod that makes blocking (with anything, not just shields) stop 100% of incoming damage.

I find it slightly unrealistic and extremly annoying that i can get killed by taking a blow to my shield. It makes blocking totally pointless.

Dido on that. I think rather a block should consume stamina and if there is not enough stamina the block fails.

So yeah, plus-one on finding this kind of mod.

What about throwing axes?

As a Ranger I have explored the tactics and nature of other traditions for Ranger type classes. There are Rangers that will wield a longsword, short sword, duel short swords, flechettes, and a lot of other tactics along side their bow including the bow as a melee weapon. But what I really find interesting is the Apache tradition if Tomahawks. I love the idea of small axes that can be wielded like axes as well as thrown and retrieved.

Rather than simply adding a mod to add throwing axes though, I am wondering if there is a mod that will allow the player to throw common war axes...

Thanks
