Anttman - try "Armor & Clothing for Kids" by PlagueHush, if you have problems getting it to work the way you want it to I use "NPC Clothes Changer & Maintainer" by Dudestia - it is excellent for dressing NPCs, I swear by it!

oh wow, thanks. I will give this a shot. Should make for some hilarious game play. Now to sneak it on wifes game and bling out her children, lol..

There is a followers management mod called follower mod.

You think it odd why would I comment about this, but here is the thing. It name brings all follower mods expect it, on both the site and google.

I have been trying so hard.

Hello.

For a while now I have been searching for mods that add new, non retexture robes into Skyrim (not battlemage or armor robes), preferably ones which are Chinese, Russian, or Japanese in style which can be worn by male or female characters. I have found one mod that has robes similar to what I am looking for called "Independent voice follower xiaoqi carrying two deputy generals," however I do not wish to download a follower based mod just to get the robes. The mod author also does not seem to speak English, as much of the translation in the mod description is rather poor and gives little information about the mod. Also, while there is a part at the bottom listing other mods it does not seem to list the names of the robes, nor does it say whether the robes are in the mod or not. If anyone knows what these robes are from, or if they are unique to this mod then please tell me.

Regardless, the information about aforementioned mod is a secondary concern, my primary concern is finding any good mods that add non-vanilla robes into the game (lore friendly or not) that are of oriental style. If anyone has happened to come across any such mods then please tell me.

I just did a search and see what you mean. That wasn't a particularly good choice for a mod name.

Fortunately I remembered its creator was Mofakin. Unfortunately, it's no longer available on the Nexus and Mofakin's account is marked as banned. Follower Mod used to be at http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60763/? but it and all of Mofakin's other mods have been removed. I don't know if it might be available somewhere else, but I doubt it.

I don't know why the account was banned since the last public posting in Forum Rules and Warnings (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3721765-mofakin-formal-warning-issued/) is only about a formal warning. My guess would be that Mofakin got mad, removed his mods, and asked to have the account closed. If so then it's not an actual ban and Mofakin might decide to return, but I wouldn't count on it.

not really robes but maybe your style?:http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16870/?

some more Japanese inspired: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13963/?

i can't say for sure what you consider "Russian"?? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63634/? or http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26713/?

Chinese, Japanese and Russian fans have their own websites and I think if you can understand them, then you can find better more authentic options on those sites.

Thank you, these are for the most part the type of styles I was looking for. I already had a few of these, but some others I hadn't seen before.

I will also possibly check out some of those foreign websites, I know of a Russian one which I have seen popping up here and there, however I have generally avoided it due to incompatibility with the nexus mod manager (I am not very good at installing certain mods manually. Most such as armor or weapon mods are simple, however some are more complex and sometimes the authors can be rather vague as to instructions...).

Okay to use those sites with NMM, here is what you do:

1)Download the file. It will be a .rar or .7z or .zip file. (i always run avira on files that i don't know)

2)Go to the NMM.

3) Click the BIG GREEN PLUS sign +. This is the symbol to "install from file" in this way NMM will unzip it and *should* put it in the right folders for you.

4) it may show up in the Unassigned folder of NMM (where the little orange folders are)

5) double click like you are used to in order to install., the .ESP file should now be at the bottom of your plugin list.

6) Sort with LOOT but if Loot doesn't recognize where it should go (doesn't move it) then move it close to your other armor mods using the up/down arrows.

In this way you can uninstall the armors you don't want just like you are used to doing -as if- you downloaded from the NMM website

Huh say, I am not much of a mage but I recently got into the whole thing, I ve got a mod called magiska and it makes everything so nice. however, I cringe whenever I walk or run because my character goes into that ape-style animation bethesda deems needed for magic casting (who knows, maybe their headcanon for magic is primitive-druidic style! which is cool now that I think about it), I would like to know if theres a mod to makes running/walking with magic equipped more... fluent and elegant, I use pretty combat animations mod, so my archery is actually pretty beautiful, I want magic to be like that, if there is a mod like c:

That I know of, there are only 4 magic animation mods.

There may be a "general" animation replacer that makes all running look nicer. You may have to mix and match. If you use PCEA, consult that mod's documentation on how to mix animations.

This is a thread of opinions on favorite animation mods but I think I've listed all of the relevant ones from Nexus: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/2lpk2s/what_are_your_favorite_animation_mods/
