Deleted9259557User
I was playing, and I do a lot of scrapping and whatnot, so I started to wonder why you can't get rid of dead bodies in your settlement. Sure, you can use console commands to disable them but that removes immersion. What if you could just scrap the bodies of animals, ghouls, roaches etc, in order to get rid of them? I think it would possibly take some doing and a little bit of scripting (which I'm no good at) but I think it would be cool if dead bodies within the build zone of a settlement could be scrapped into human remains and such, and the items in their inventory could be transferred into the workbench much like when you scrap a container. I have tried modding a couple times but can't wrap my head around the mechanics, so if someone could help to make this immersive idea a reality that would be the best thing ever. Mavkiel
A mod exists that allows for that, I think its manufacturing extended. Don't have to use the new settlement buildings, but you can still scrap bodies and gain bone and stuff. edit: Or perhaps its scrap everything. One of those two mods allows for it. JimmyRJump
Scrap Dead Things does that for you. Also, most dead bodies are done away with by the game itself after a certain amount of time. There's a few settlements where bodies are treated differently somehow and they can't be scrapped (like at Zimonja)...
