For me, 1.2-1.3 made no difference. I crash during open world exploring no matter what I do... mods or no mods. the game is ****ing unstable on my rig.

Had to restart he game 3 times and can only get halfway each time before it starts to constantly crash and cause save rollbacks...I haven't even beat the game and it feels repetitive already and sadly, there is nothing new or interesting about the game any more since I had to replay it 3 times in 2 weeks but never got passed 50% of the game. So unless you have my problem it really isn't that bad.

It all depends, my retail copy has run like a champ since I installed the game on day 1, but I haven't been back online to Steam since then so haven't experienced any of the 'fixes'!

You can't roll it back unless you made a copy of your game before being patched.

thats good leave it that way, dont let steam mess ur s*** up. Bethesda was buggy enough on its own, now we gotta deal with steam?? Bethesda letting steam promote their s*** was a bad move., or whatever it is their 'doing' Edited by minigun7777

Updated to 1.3 just now and while looking at the map in skyrim my system crashed to blue screen. It was something like nvldkmm.sys that choked.

I have been keeping everything uptodate except Skyrim - using a pre 1.2 version and disabled steam and everything was fine - followed the STEP mod suggestions. But this crash is a first for me.

Going to try and remove the new skse patch but I think I might be going back to my saved copy ... sigh.

---- UPDATE - removed the beta skse 1.3 dll and everything is fine. After about an hour of game play no issues. The frame rate is improved and things seem fine. Good. Haven't had to remove a mod.
