twizzOr
What's the benefit over NMM's profile function? I have a "mod" profile and a "vanialla" one. If you have to physical installation, isn't that a waste of disk space??Different ini/enb settings? I'm not sure NMM profiles capture those. robhartman9
it is a lot easer to use the mod profiles in the NMM. A couple of clicks to switch profiles before launching the game. I have vanilla, superhero, CBBE decorator, squad leader, and Atom Cats Rule baby. Customized profile for every character. Two Fallout4.exe, two Fallout4.ini and so on.. What's the benefit over NMM's profile function? I have a "mod" profile and a "vanialla" one. I don't see this as a reason to "waste" 35+ GB of space, but you might differ. It's only a matter of time till we see tools like this for Fallout http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24402/? Heck, I could start coding something like this right now if I find more beer. Edited October 17, 2016 by Crosstieger

Profile 1 can run all your mods and profile 2 can be your bare minimum for performance.
chucksteel
I'm not sold on NMM's Profile manager, I've had it mess up when NMM updates. I've had other things go wrong with it. NMM is still in Beta unless I missed something but I'm fully up to date on it. My opinion is if you have the disk space to spare then a physical duplicate version of your game is best. This also allows you to keep different versions of the base game when Beth decides to slip in a Ninja patch. Edit: I'm so not sold on NMM that I have started to use Beth's internal mod manager, Granted I have less then 10 mods to manage. and for FO3/NV I still use FOMM. Bernt
Guess he's thinking about the two data folders. A lot of stuff will be duplicated - and take up a lot of space. "A lot" is of course relative. Depends on your rig :)

Like MO NMM is being dropped to build a newer better manager. Look in the news section of the forums to learn more.
