zerefnosekai
So how is the mod community doing I'm so tired off the dumbing down off fallout 4 that I want to go back is it worth it?
madmongo
FNV modding has slowed down quite a bit, but it's not quite dead yet. I was hugely disappointed with FO4 and have no desire at all to mod it. I'll be sticking with FNV. I'm currently working on a huge FNV mod. By the time it's done there may not be anyone to play it here except for me, but I'm doing it mainly for me and I'm having fun with it so I don't care. Skyviper086
Yeah FO4 was a major let down for this long time Fallout fan. I mean to me it's only worth it to stick with the one faction. But honestly they could've developed some of the other factions much better, added more, etc. Basically FO4 was a featured a lot of things that were mods for earlier Fallout games. What's killing FO4 is that the mod tools aren't fully complete and buggy AND rampant mod theft for console users. They could've did more with that title. So yeah coming back to new Vegas is worth it. There are a lot of awesome mods still in the works. Is just that now most of those mod developers have moved off to their own websites. I just hope the mod development community can save Fallout 4. Like it did Vegas.
Ladez
Trying out a few hours of Fallout 4 was enough for me. Maybe I'll pick up the game once it gets that inevitable 75% sale with all DLC and play through it once. As for FNV, I'm on a break from it now, but I'm not done yet. Not sure that I ever will be.
kylemarshiku
Even if no one ever made a New Vegas mod again, there is still soooooo much more content for the vanilla New Vegas game and the plethora of existing mods with which Fallout 4 and its mods will never be able to compete. In my opinion modded New Vegas is THE way play Fallout.
mindboggles
We are still working away on the Frontier and it will give NV a major boost. http://www.falloutthefrontier.com/worldspace/
Mktavish
Ah common guys ... don't sell Fo3 short. What about TTW ? I see big things maybe happening with that.
RoyBatterian
Still working on TTW, San Fran, AWOP, and many other mods. NV modding has slowed down, but that's just because people are spending time on quality mods instead of a rush of nonsense. Jokerine in particular has been releasing some quality content this year. I wouldn't count someguy as totally dead yet either, I suspect he will resume at some point. I'm also looking forward to Project Brazil's completion, The Story and the Fallout 2 one I can't recall the name of right now.
mkborgelt13
I switched over to NV from FO4 too. Having a great time, I'd say it's worth it.
YanL
I just hope the mod development community can save Fallout 4. Like it did Vegas.Imho, the community made a boost for NV, not a rescue (this is the right word? Sorry for poor english) NV vanilla is awesome since the release. The only major problem is the bugs. Anyway, Fallout 4 is the first game from Bethesda that I can't play without mods. I JUST can't stand that dialogue wheel (funny, never bothered me in Mass Effect), the lack of keyring and I do not accepted at all that I cant build a bunch of things but I can't make my own ammo. This is the problems easy resolved with mods. The problem is the things that neither mods can do. Like put RPG in the game =/
