Base gun replacers

I've been playing Fallout 4 since its release. I have to say i'm not especially happy with the base ballistic weapon models.

I've read on the steam forums that this is a pretty common sentiment. The vanilla models are a bit too cartoonish.

 

My suggestions are as follows:

10mm pistol
Something close to the Heckler & Koch MK 23 or USP. As you can see with these pics it could be configured the same way as the vanilla gun while being much more aesthetically pleasing.

Combat Rifle

 

For the combat rifle I would think a Mini-14 with the wood stock would be a better model.

Hunting Rifle
The gun model is fine, just change that stupid tactical stock.

 

Radium rifle

 

Like a sten gun.

Im not a modder so i dont know how much work would go into this. just please someone fix the cartoony guns

There's a Colt Delta Elite replacer for the 10mm pistol. I've been using it for a while, and it looks much better (and more realistic).

There's a replacer version of the WH-77 for the assault rifle. Skibadaa just redid the model, but hasn't updated the replacer version yet.

But the G67 looks basically the same as the existing combat rifle, and is still cartoony.

 

Definetly going to try out the assault rifle and 10mm replacer.

I agree, I don't use that one, just pointing out that it exists. The other two I do use though. At least the vanilla combat rifle is better than the pistol and assault rifle. I'm waiting for Skibadaa to redo his IF-54 Battle Rifle, it will probably make a good replacement for the combat rifle.

bumping
