Can I use images found on google for the textures?

Can't believe I'm asking this question, but here it goes...

I'm remodeling a lunchbox, so meshes, uv maps, textures (partly) are all made by me, but here's the problem...

I'll need hi rez images like this for lunchbox to look good. It's obviously made by another person.

There's no way I could draw anything like that on my own.

So I'm asking. Is it ok to use images like these for the texture work?

Of course, it's not for commercial use, but I do plan on uploading the new lunchbox as a mod to nexus.

That image is on the Fallout 3 Collector's Edition lunchbox. The image was made by Bethesda and is used in their advertising and cover art as well.

If you can find that image buried in the FNV texture files somewhere you can use it. Otherwise you're out of luck. Bethesda owns the copyright. It's not a public domain image.

Bethesda allows use of promotional materials in mods, though. Elianora confirmed this by asking them directly some time ago.

If that's so, then that's great!

This image I literally found on some store that sells blanket with that picture on it and it's perfect after some editing in Paint.NET.

Thanks for the info! :)
