majesticmadman
So in short I want to make a mod for myself, that I can set custom armors for NPCs. However I want to be able to use mods I'm running in the game for this. So I noticed when using them as .esp the NPC would be naked in game. So I did some research and found out it'd work if converted to .esm . However there's then that your can;t have multiple master files loaded in the CK. So I merged the mods I was after, but when I try load it in the CK it just CTDs on me.Does anyone know how this works. What I know:Currently I'm trying to alter Captain Aldis (Solitude Captain).Under Outfits I created a new one called 000CaptainAldisDragged the relevant Armor into the outfitApplied the Default Outfit in Aldis' Inventory tabSaved and loaded in skyrim. What I'm tryingI want to give Aldis armour from another mod, but I then want to change all guards/military armour.
NexusComa
The trick here would be to put your armor in as the default armor. Try downloading a full armor pack made to replace npc armor then substitute in the ones you like. You may want to take a look at these: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21163/?http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11662/? Pickysaurus
You can load multiple masters in CK by changing a flag in Skyrimeditor.ini (default skyrim directory). bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 You may also enjoy; bBlockMessageBoxes=1 To stop the boxes you always have to click "Yes to all" on when loading CK

icecreamassassin
yeah you are essentially making a patch to use with these other mods, so you have to use Wyre Bash and ESM-fy the source mods and then open them all up, no active file, save your new ESP and go from there. This will make your mod depend on the specific armor mods you are utilizing. Also make sure to ESP-fy the other mods back when you are done, and always ESM-fy them again if you need to edit your mod.
