Matth85
Join the guild of your class as fast as possible - you'll gain some very serious benefits. Be aware though: The questline are very short, and you'll finish it fast. Any people with any sense of RP will get problems afterward: An archmage deliviring letters in Whiterun? No way! Jupitus
You can add things to your home without mods by opening the console and using the... help ______ 0 ...command. Example, help arcane 0, brings up item IDs including the "arcane enchanter" which is the enchanting table. You can then use the... player.placeatme ______ 1 ...command to place it and then the... rotate x 180 ...command to adjust the position. (substitute y/z for x according to wichever axis you want to adjust and any large number including negatives for 180 to rotate.) I generally add the enchanter to the back room of Breezehome and a shrine to Akatosh on the rock just outside the door.
Lyanheart
When naming new items you've enchanted, put a space before the name (like " Dragonslayer") so it shows up at the top of alphabetical lists. It makes them much easier to find. Best tip EVER!
Lolmasteromg
These are different techniques to level up faster, some are exploits but just consider them to be training like in oblivion when you jump up an down 10000 times to level up acrobats. Smithing - Iron Daggers, Iron. Daggers. Illusion - Get the spell "muffle" and cast over and over, do not need anyone near you. Conjuration - Get "raise zombie" spell and use it often, the damage inflicted or taken by the conjured will add to your exp. Alchemy - People make the mistake of just mixing random potions and getting tons of failures. Try and find things that match, if you see that deathbell has the ability to Slow , Damage Health, ????, ????. Then don't mix it with something like Wheat which is used to heal. Also, once you discovered potions, try and mix the most expensive potions out of 3 ingredients. Speech - Just sell a lot, get into the habit of pressing R whenever you kill an enemy to loot all their equipment. Remember the selling trick. Sell your rings/jewelry/Scrolls to the Court Mage or Jewlery StoreSell alchemy ingredients like Dragon Parts to the AlchemistSell unenchanted armors and weapons to the Smithers/ weapons dealersSell remaining items to general store. Restoration - Try to get a spell like faster healing and let an enemy attack youover and over again and use it. Spells work faster when they are not constantfor example, Flame spell vs Firebolt, Firebolt is done in one shot and not continous, gains more exp too. Alteration - Similar to Restoration, get an enemy that does fair amount of damage - use spells like Oakskin and take damage in it. It will rank up quick. Enchanting 1. Whenever you get an enchanted item that you do not plan to use, just destroy it in the enchanting table. You usually level up every 1 - 3 items. 2. A very fast way to level up is to keep every filled soul gem you get (or make your own) and get a bunch of rings/apparel. Enchant each one even if the enchantment sucks, you will level up almost each enchantment Sneak - Run back and forth near an enemyIn Draugnr ruins, sneak up to sleeping draugnr and attack them while theyre sleeping. Gives you tons of sneak exp to sleep kill, Heavy armor/Light armor - Find an enemy that does high amounts of damage but enough to heal from and let them attack you. Another trick is to type TIMin Console which makes you immortal but still take damage. Then have a bunch of enemies attack you, your leveling will go up like crazy. lessthan3
Here's my tip. Dragons are a pain in the ass.Often, when they just fly around and hover, you have to settle for an arrow or two before they fly off, and then repeat this 50 times until they land permanently. For characters who don't specialize in archery, it's really annoying. That's why we have Storm Call. However, getting this shout can take some time, and the dungeons where it resides are really freaking tough. But I found this easy way to get one of the words. You're welcome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8rjBHeekTs

spets21
tip: 1.when fighting dragons or mages always bring an enchanted -% resistance boots it helps a lot. 2.before engaging in a fight never forget to buff first *mages 3.make a habit or try to avoid picking keys from dead foes instead pick locks as often as you could to gain level but some quest you do need to. 4.F5 before engaging in major battles incase s*** happens 5.before upgrading or enchanting an item for your follower make sure to equip that item to your follower first before you start upgrading/enchanting that said item to make sure he/she will use that gear exploits:1."House of Horrors" you can train almost all skill tree(archery/stealth/illusion/conjuration/destruction/one-2hand/alteration/block/restoration) for this quest by exploiting the priest in his cage during the confrontation of molag ba`al after given the rusty mace(caged) sneak and back stab him repeatedly for leveling you gain 1hand and stealth. after leveling sneak and 1 hand to 100 go in front of his eyesight and you will now see him in your radar as a red mark train you two-hand and restoration by hitting him and using healing hands on the priest repeatedly.same apply with block/archery/destruction spells like flame or FB just bring stamina potion tho :D training for alteration/conjuration keep summoning bound weapons and casting iron flesh(alteration) any kind infront of him while being marked red in your radar higher level spells = higher xp you get and dont forget to click on a standing stone mage/warrior/thief for the 20% faster exp during this quest while the priest is inside his cage you can enter and exit the house anytime you want this will allow you to go to a standing stone and change to a corresponding buff :D 2.(leveling speech craft)go to riften talk to the bartender(Ungrien or whatever his name was)at the black brior meadery.talk about maven black brior rinse and repeat, dont forget to use a standing stone befire engaging in a dialogue

Levelup them for free with the Companions guild: after finishing the guild quest, you can hire them as followers, still use them as trainers and freely retrieve your gold from their inventory.
