McclaudEagle
Hi. Today I decided I wanted to play Bad Company 2 on my PC. I loaded up the browser list, and what do I find? Nothing...no server in sight. I expected Battlefield 3 to take many of the players, but not kill off BC2s MP all together. Is it truly dead, or is something wrong with my game/connection? hoofhearted4
cant say for PC, but on Ps3 its still quite alive. though ill admit, when you get into the wee hours of the morning it dies out considerably, though it did this even before BF3, at least for me, at least on Ps3. though once it dies for me on TDM (my prefered mode) i can usually hop over to Conquest and find something going on. sometimes i get luck and its full, but usually, at that time its only like 8v8 or 5v5 or something :/....never bother to check Rush cause i hate Rush. that said, mid day, TDM is almost always full and Conquest is usually pretty close it helps that i have like 4-5 friends who still play BFBC2, so i just join in with them. McclaudEagle
Problem is fixed, my version of Bad Company 2 hadn't updated itself like normal. They released a 2.4GB patch, but my updater didn't install it, so no servers were visible. After installing the update, the server list was back to normal. D3Z3RT
Hadn't played BC2 for months before last week. Forgot how fun it is, played for 35+ hours, no sleep LOL Not dead on PC by any stretch. Between Europe and USA there are many servers to choose from 24/7. The only game mode I couldn't play was Squad Rush. There were many Squad Deathmatch and Conquest. I would say Rush was a slight majority for game mode. I switched over to BC2 Vietnam and I think the most servers I saw up at one time was 10. There were only 5 consistent servers that were always populated. So, if you enjoyed this game like I did (do), it is very much alive on PC. EDIT: Didn't realize I was bumping a 2 year old thread. Fail. LoL.

LeddBate
it's 2017 and BFBC2 multiplayer is still alive and wellThat would be because BFBC2 was (and still is) the best of the Battlefield series. I know. I'll catch lots of flak for saying that. So I'll take it one step further and say that I am sooo glad I gave on Battlefield before 5 came out. And no, I don't give a rat's posterior about the controversy. I'm talking about the lackluster maps and the AI functionality. I did like the soundtrack for the game though. Okay, I admit I DID like Battlefield 1 a bit. Enough to buy it after watching some game-play.
