huntsman2310
http://i.imgur.com/jnxUo.jpg Okay so basically this guy without the wings is going to be the basis for a new type of Dragon for one of my planned mods. I want him to be a land-bound Dragon, who instead of havin 2 legs and a pair of wings, has four legs and can't fly. The only problem is I'm not sure how to go about with giving him some new forelegs. Any help you guys can give?

pwnedbyscope
you know wyverns didnt have 4 legs, only two, and in somecases none at all, this is what separates them from normal dragons.
ryanwh
I've never heard of wyverns as "wingless dragons" either so lets not get caught up on "official lore" when wyvern is clearly a blanket term used for many things to refer to a "lesser dragon". Anyhow, copying the hind legs and foreshortening them to almost vestigial arms (like a t rex) seems like the best option so you don't have to worry about rigging up large 4 legged creature which could be buggy. So that's the way I'd go, vestigial arms as opposed to forelegs. At that point you may have something close to a reimagined Daedroth.
Omnimmotus
The exact definition of wyvern is hard to pinpoint, but it seems to boil down to "a dragon which does not have four legs". In this sense, all the dragons of Skyrim are wyverns. Typical dragons, on the other hand, have four legs AND wings.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wyvern That being said, the name doesn't really matter. Looks cool! :)
Bostock
Alternatively, just have him run on his hind legs like he already does and give small dinosaur-style arms for balance. Might save you save hassle animating too.
huntsman2310
The only problem is I'm not sure how to go about with giving him some new forelegs. I suggest modelling them. Funny. I actually just had a epiphany while going through some of my books on Dragons (childhood books....I am not insane. :psyduck:) Turns out the normal Dragons in Skyrim are all Wyverns. Wyverns have two legs and a pair of wings, with a claw on those wings used to support themselves while on the ground. I've actually considered the possibility of making Velociraptors as well, because everythings worse with Dinosaurs. But in all seriousness I'll just call it a Draak, and make a copy of the back legs for the forelegs. And honestly I'm not really inclined towards giving it T-Rex arms since it would look a bit goofy and the other Dragons would laugh at him. I've got some work to get to it seems. Matth85
I am not sure what you are asking here ....How to make the legs, or how the legs should look? Google untill you find a few good concept, and draw some of your own. You should never work in 3d without good reference and concept to work with.ANd to make it... well.. you model it? huntsman2310
Yes I am going to model it, I just was asking about a method that would easily and quickly give my new creation forelegs. And no I'm actually Australian. I'm calling it a Draak because thats the closest equivalent name of a Dragon I found in one of the books, which for some reason says a lot of the Dragons live in Tasmania. Go figure.
