DrakeTheDragon
Ladies and Gentlemen, you have stuck with me for at least a month and a half. I now present to you. The final model of the Wyrm! *snip* Very impressive work so far. I'm silently watching since the first post and you've made some magnificent progress already.Though that last image doesn't give the work justice, due to the unfortunate angle from which it's shown. The other images so far gave a way better view of it. Now I can't wait to see that baby in motion! Oh and just as a sidenote, this always reminds me of the racing dragons from the Dragon Booster animated series. They also don't have wings and are still called dragons, and the 4-legged dragons' body structure is looking pretty similar to this. Not a fan or anything, but I enjoyed the series back then and was immediately reminded of its dragons looking at your images. The similarity is remarkable. Regardless, great job so far. Keep it going!
huntsman2310
I may put this project on the back burner for the time being. I'm currently getting used to the Havok editor, and how it can do things. So with some luck I can learn how to get my OBJ model (which I recently found out only keeps the basic vertice data of the mesh ), into the editor, grab a copy of the Dragon's skeleton from its original model, then edit it to fit the new body. Like a not-so wise man once said. "Its going to take a while."
Matth85
Have you rigged them, so they actually move? Just wondering. That said, these are the vanilla dragon meshes, with some small editting, right? It shouldn't take long to finish whateverido you want with them. huntsman2310
The problem is that to get the model into Blender 2.6 (which doesn't have a NIF plugin yet), I had to export the model as a OBJ to work on it. The problem I now face is the fact that the rig for the Mesh wasn't exported over as well because OBJs only hold vertice data. But if thats the case, I'll have to find a way to put the Skeleton back into the OBJ, and then repackage as a NIF. Its goanna take some fiddlin'. huntsman2310
Hang on. This may sound really stupid and obvious, but is the Skeleton for the creature a seperate mesh file? *Disregard, just found it.* Edited January 24, 2012 by huntsman2310
PrometheusTS
if you used 3dsmax it coudl be done really quick but with blender I dunno how ...
huntsman2310
I may have to. I do have it installed but I prefer Blender's UI and I know where everything is. I'll give it a try tommorow. Oh here's a better view of the final mesh. http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/4707/wyrmq.th.jpg Edited January 24, 2012 by huntsman2310

huntsman2310
possibly. I'm thinking of giving them more spikes and armour the older they are. So the one in the pic would be the Average Wyrm variant.
