huntsman2310
No way I'm doing that, too far in now! After my Drake is ready, I'll finish up on my Velociraptor and then onto the Cockatrice.
Zebideedee
That looks excellent. I always thought Wyverns were kinda snakey type creatures though, more long necks and tails? That still looks good :D Edited December 29, 2011 by Zebideedee
huntsman2310
Yeah theres been a bit of a debate over the name, which quickly descended into a argument about what a Dragon actually means. So from now on, I'm just calling it a Drake.
IdentityAJB
Your final mesh is beautiful. It looks allot like the drake seen here: Drake So for your Slitherers, will that be similar to a Sea Drake? See the pictures below to get an idea what I am talking about: Sea Drake #1 Sea Drake #2 Sea Drake #3 If so, I can't wait!
huntsman2310
In actual fact, I was just going to limit the Slitherer's to being underground only, but since you posted those pics, I think I'll expand them to live underwater as well. Gotta have something to swim away screaming from then just Slaughterfish don't we? On the topic of the Slitherers I'm a bit stumped about how to animate them. I'm thinking of using the Frost Wyrm's animation set for the cave slitherers. And for the underwater ones, I'll use the slaughterfishs most likely. I'll post a pic of the textured Drake tonight. axiler
Your model is so beautiful, I can't wait to see them all finished. If you are still trying to find designs for your Velociraptor, maybe you could use the prehistoric dragon model from the animal planet documentary 'Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTWmoKRkxC4&feature=related

huntsman2310
So I've run into a odd problem while working on the UV map in Blender.http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/9154/odduvmapproblem.th.jpgEvery time I unwrap the model, the layout comes out all wrong. Does anyone have some almighty wisdom and insight to lay on me?
huntsman2310
Turns out the textures of Dragons are a bit different from others. They have at least 10 MIP map layers (essentially scaled down version of the main texture.) and its incredibly frustrating trying to delete anything on them. Like wings for example.
