Kodiak412
I recently bought Breezehome so I do not know if this happened before an update or not. I have Lydia for a Housecarl and whenever she sits in her chair in my bedroom her weapon (any weapon) will clip into the floor. Because of this there is a constant clanking noise like metal hitting something. When she stands up it goes away and when she sits down it starts again. I did not notice this before in Skyrim SE but again I did recently purchase the home and decorations. I do not know if it happens with any other housecarls, but does this happen to anyone else? Extremely annoying. Any replies will be greatly appreciated and any solutions will be great.
Kodiak412
For future reference: The issue was the FPS I was running at was faster than 60 and apparently this causes havoc with some older games not designed to handle it. I used Nvidia Inspector to cap the FPS of Skyrim SE to 59.7 and all the issues went away.
LeddBate
Thanks for posting your solution. Others may find this very useful. Most people might write back: "Nevermind, fixed it." without explaining what they did (if they wrote back at all.) Thanks for following through for everyone else's benefit. This is good reading if it helps. Thanks for the nice post. I know what you are saying and I hate that. Someone says they found a solution and never say what that solutions was. :)
