Are the notifications acting up again?

I could live perfectly fine without them before we had an access to them, but once they were added, they become an essential part of Nexus for me. Are they acting up again at the moment thanks to the increased data flow? I think that this is happening for several days, I'm getting notifications about uploaded files which in fact happened couple of days ago. I open the notification saying "x new files were uploaded to Mod y", but when I look at the page, there is nothing new. Like if the notifications were catching up the time for which they were disabled.

I know you all have a lot of work securing that the site actually remain in working state, but couldn't anyone send a tiny official notice what is going on, to the frontpage whenever you are forced to disable something? I'm sure more people than just me would appreciate it.

Thank you.

I was just thinking of asking the same question...

I just got a notification for a mod that hasn't had a new upload for a whole week! What's weird is I think I'm getting update notifications for the initial upload on some mods, i.e. someone uploads a new mod, I see it and think it looks interesting so click track, a few days later I get a notification that it's been updated although the only file there is the first one they uploaded.

Good thing I remember to check the mods I use for updates beyond tracking them as I would have been behind on stuff since the notifications didn't seem to go through until days later. I get that it's due to the site overload right now, but figured I'd just chime in to confirm I'm another that this is happening too.
