Stolen Mods on Second Life

I originally sent a private message (PM) to Dark0ne and SirSalami back in April of this year 2016 but I never got a response from either one. I since then haven't played Second Life (SL) either (its boring and there is nothing to do), but I came across this PM when going through my inbox and decided to DL SL again and see if this shop still exists and it does. So instead of trying to be discrete about it, I'm just going to leave this message here to the whole community and if anyone wants to or can take action, then by all means go ahead. I'm only going to be informing the community and nothing more will be done on my part. I will be uninstalling SL again once I'm through with this notice to the Nexus Community.

Here is the second PM I sent to SirSalami, but I will be adding notes of changes in red/caps/bold to it if any is needed:

******************************

I had originally sent this message to Dark0ne via private message, but I'm not sure if he ever checks those so I'm sending this to you since you're the community manager; in hopes perhaps you check your private messages. Message below is a copy and paste of original message:
Hello Dark0ne SirSalami,
I came across a shop in a game called Second Life that has many of the armour mods from here on Nexus mods. This shop is selling all of these stolen armours as clothing in the game for profit within that game. Second Life has a currency called Linden. You can either acquire Linden from within the game however you choose or you can buy Linden with real money. All Linden you acquire on to your account can be traded/sold back to Second Life for real life money. A lot of people have shops in the game and sell clothing they make and that is how they make Linden for real life money.
You are the ONLY second person I'm informing at this time. I thought I'd ask you on how to go about reporting them. I don't want the person that owns the shop in Second Life to get wind of knowing that someone found their shop and knows it is all stolen items. If they do, they can just take their shop down and I'd rather they get caught in action to be honest. I would like to see that person have to pay back all that Liden back to Second Life or something, but I doubt that would happen. If anything, SL may only have the shop removed. But who is to say they won't open another one?
I was thinking of making a video to capture all the stolen items this person has and/or taking a bunch of screenshots. I'm kind of lazy so I rather just do a video since it will be faster XD. After that I was going to send a private message of the video and information of the shop on Second Life to all the mod authors that I know of whose armour(s) are on there. And obviously I would inform Nexus, you, as well. But then I decided to go through you first and see if you and your team wanted to handle this yourself. I don't know if you would be able to take legal actions against Second Life and the shop owner or not.
The information of the shop is as follows:
Shop Name: LostGem Mesh and Market Place
Owned By : Twisted Sista shopping complex
Location : Spiritual Reboot (188, 217, 22)
Size : 24144 sq m
Category : Shopping
Maturity : M Moderate
Founder of Twisted Sista shopping complex: nhy
Second Life name of nhy: Kim
Second Life Birthdate: June 14, 2011
If you or anyone on your team know how to use Second Life, you can go straight to the shop from this link: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Spiritual%20Reboot/189/218/24 YOU MUST HAVE SL INSTALLED FOR THE 'VISIT THIS LOCATION' TO WORK.
Just click on "Visit this location". Walk into the shop and go to the left. There are panels with six armours on each of them you can scroll through. The stolen armours are throughout the shop, but a lot are over to the left. **THE SHOP HAS SINCE CHANGE AND NOW IS JUST THREE LEVELS**.
I don't know how long the shop itself has been open because it doesn't say, but the founder has had their account on Second Life since 14th June, 2011. There seem to be a lot of campers in the shop as well so, to the looks of it, the shop gets a decent amount of traffic. So who knows how much money they have made off these stolen armour mods and for how long.
I hope this is enough information for now in this brief message. I'd write more, but I need to start working and I think the above is enough. Have a great weekend.
ADDED TO THIS MESSAGE (not from original):
Off the top of my head, I know there are armours from Immersive Armors, Triss Armor Retextured, Northgirl Armor, DreamBurrows, etc. There are more that I recognize but I do not know the armour mod names nor whom the authors are.
******************************
Well that's it. I leave this to the Nexus community to do or not do whatever. There are stolen armour/clothing mods on Second Life and this person who owns the shop has been making a profit (real life money) off them. If any of you want to inform some authors about this in a PM or just link this thread to them, please do so.

Baibaihe, you could have contacted hothrooper and dreamburrow and anyone else whoes armor you recognise and let them know thru forums, which I have already done , hothtrooper replied saying they have been selling his mods on that game for years but he's not sure what he can do about either :ermm: , ..

I dont play second life nor have I ,. have you contacted second life people and reported the player ?? you need to contact people of the game and let them know whether they'll actually Do anything , is upto them

oh wow!!!really!!!?? that's fantastic!!I been in SL for ages and been lookin for these armors to wear,,i think its fantastic that they are available in sl

I like how not 30 minutes ago I tracked down the guy that stole the assets. His second life handle is Legend Darkrose

[00:35] Legend Darkrose: hello,i am Legend,,part owner of "LostGemMesh"

[00:35] Legend Darkrose: what seems to be the issue?

[00:36] (You): have you ever been to the website tesnexus oblivion nexus or skyrim nexus?

[00:37] (You): basically the modding site for many computer games?

[00:37] Legend Darkrose: do you have any question bout anything significant?what i do in my personal life i rather keep to myself

[00:38] Legend Darkrose: i am sure you agree with that statement?it is after all in your profile

[00:39] (You): Just giving you a heads up, that the mod authors know about the armors

[00:40] Legend Darkrose: before you start throwing accusations,,please get your facts in order.

[00:40] (You): just passing on information

[00:41] Legend Darkrose: well,i can assure you,,we are licensed merchants in sl,unlike many others

[00:41] Legend Darkrose: k?

[00:41] Legend Darkrose: :)

[00:41] (You): Oh so you did get permission for the copyright holders for the assets including Bethesda softworks?

[00:42] (You): and bethesda game studio?

[00:42] (You): Just trying to get my facts in order

[00:42] Legend Darkrose: i seee no reason to engage in any personal inforatio with you

[00:43] (You): So your statement is that the assets are not stolen and you have permission from Bethesda softworks and the various creators of armors mods for bethesda softworks games?

[00:43] Legend Darkrose: you are not a representative or a person of authority to justify my bizznes with

[00:44] Legend Darkrose: have a good day

[00:44] (You): No, i'm just a reporter

[00:44] Legend Darkrose: good bye

[00:44] (You): have a nice day

[00:57] (You): https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5047540-stolen-mods-on-second-life/?hl=%2Bsecondlife

[00:58] Legend Darkrose: by the way,,a real reporter is unbias and doesnt throw accusations to the person she or he is reporting about or interviewing,,just fyi k?

[00:59] (You): Except when the mod creators have outright said, "these areour assets and they were stolen"

[01:01] (You): Anyway, enjoy your day. You are aware of the situation now, and I hope you understand the legal consequences. You might want to go and speak with the mod authors and obtain permission and negotiate a licence from them.

[01:01] (You): Take care.

[01:02] Legend Darkrose: k yea wayyyyy ahead of you on that bye bye

[01:05] (You): Would you care to elaborate? so I can fact check?

[01:08] (You): https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1023620-your-mod-may-have-been-stolen/?hl=%2Bsecondlife&do=findComment&comment=8333100

[01:09] (You): Because Dreamburrow clearly did not give you permission to use her assets.

oh seems you are just an SL stalker then,no? because unless you are the owner of any of the "Free" assets,,,i don't think you would have any reason go try to discredit someone in SL or any other game. You have to rememeber,,,these files are free to download.and if you are just posting because you feel angry and you are being vindictive,,,then I have to agree with him when he says you are not a real reporter.please post something useful instead.and thank you so much for pointing me to the directions to the store,,ill definitely try some awesome skyrim clothes,,cant wait to see them..

:)
