How Combats and Magic should have looked in Skyrim!

I don't particularly like this, but some might, and as in oblivion, those some might make a animation mod later on in the game!! best of both worlds. Gives you the chose to not have it,.

 

Eitherway i find the crit animations pretty hardcore in vanilla.

Can always tone down the exagereted movements, but the way the magicks looks are way more impressive, and wouldn't hurt to have impressive looking magicks.

 

TES games have never been about cataclysmic explosions, meteors falling from the sky, demons crawling from the ground to rip people to shreds.

 

TES magic has a muted, functional quality to it. The player perspective anyway. The ritual aspect... thats different altogether.

 

No, i see nothing in that style of gameplay that appeals to me. Some of the finishers in Skyrim push the limits for me, and this type of shenanigans... *sigh*

Well...never though that there where so many people that closed their eyes to something else and other styles...

 

Thought that people on the Nexus where more open, with all the variety of mods you can find, i really though there would be more then this...

 

Din't know that people was so keen on simplistic and dull stuff..., makes me wonder if i'm not on a Risen or Drakensang forum...

 

Disapointement, thats what i'm feeling...

 

Don't get it wrong, i love TES, but it lacks that something that makes me go"Whooaa!"

 

And speaking of Monkey movements animations, as someone put it..., you din't Jump that much during you're gameplay then or used Two hands weapons did you?

 

Jumping in Skyrim or even swinging a 2hander looks like a drunk monkey on speed who doesn't know the freak where he goes...

 

Can't wait for the Ck to have better anims seriously.
