TR_Data.esm

I am having an issue where a couple of older mods rely on TR_Data.esm master file. But TR recently changed how things are handled, so the mods can't locate the info needed. I am primarily concerned with the "Sobitur" mod, and TR, working together.

You would probably be better off updating your mod's dependency (from TR_Data.esm to Tamriel_Data.esm) using the patch provided in the most recent download.

But if for any reason you must really have the old TR_Data.esm, it should be included in the older releases (earlier than 16.09)

How can i download TR_Data.esm? Any clues?

Download Tamriel rebuilt

the 16.03 version should be the last one using TR_Data.esm as master (that's the one I use) Edited by abot

so when it says the .esm is missing, i don't need it?

if it works without it...cool.

i am used to seeing "missing files" stuff that morrowind works without.. just loathe to start up brand new TR game and find out I need tr_data.esm not tamriel_data.esm

Maybe. Maybe not.

A plugin has "TR_Data.esm" as a master. If that plugin adds items from that master to the game world or otherwise references those items then you'll probably get some errors and possibly crashes if you go to the cells those objects etc. are added to. and maybe get errors / crashes on launching the game too.

Think there's a Java-based patcher designed for this problem.
