I'm using Malwarebytes and, honestly, that's it. I don't download anything outside of EA Origin (for BF3) and Steam, wallpapers (I collect them) and iTunes/Jamendo. All I do is run occasional scans to make sure everything's OK.

The best virus protection is a smart PC user. I've never picked up a virus, even without an anti-virus installed.

Oh, I also use AdBlock and NoScript (like the other users), but I disable them on certain websites, like this one.

Nothing.

I'm not the sort to click on the adverts for `Free pills that make certain appendages larger+ make you buff+ make women love you+ get you rich with Google at home+free kittens`

Once had AVG, slowed everything down, norton once installed itself.... took ages to evict- I'v had viruses that were better than bloody Norton.... I've actually been paid to remove it from peoples computers!

These antivirus firms, are scaremongering clients in to buying protection from almost anything now days....

Norton is garbage, probably the one thing that some viruses actually look out for, i mean i had 2010 for awhile on my Mothers laptop and it wiped out the entire antivirus less then a month. I swear that antivirus attracts them :teehee: Edited by Thor.

@Thor. I had Norton on my first comp, and a "You have a virus" popup was annoying me but Norton couldn't get rid of it so I installed another antivirus and scanned the system. The only program affected with the virus was Norton .
