ghastlyrabbit
When I press "New Game" on the Main Menu the game simply gives me an endless loading screen instead of starting a new game. If anyone can help me fix this that would be great, because at the moment I'm having to download saves from the Nexus to play as I deleted my saves yesterday. Thank You. damanding
Is it completely vanilla, no mods installed or with mods installed? Try verifying steam cache as well.

D8e7L3t1a1
It may be Xander's aid. I found a reference online about it and uninstalled it afterwards I was able to start a new game. It may be fine to have it on after it starts, but you will probably have to disable/uninstall it before starting a new game.
EvilMatt666
I've had a loop of not being able to start Fallout up before but it wasn't letting me even get to the loading screen. How I fixed my issue was closing and restarting steam and then everything worked fine, I have no idea why. May as well try that though, it takes about a minute to do. JimmyRJump
It's advisable to start new games without any mods installed and install your mods after having left Vault 111. Depending on what mods are active, you can get lucky and be able to start a new game without any glitches, but most of the time all kinds of weirdnesses happen...
