nix9862
My AI speech (hearing what someone in the game is saying) is working correctly for the most part, except when i face the character directly, it just cancels out. Is there a fix to this. When i look to the left of the charcter i hear him in the right part of my headset, when i look to the right i hear him on the left. all i would like to know is if there is a fix for this or if it is my headset. Thank you
Iv000
That sounds like a problem with the headset, I have never heard this being a problem with the game.Though you might want to try this:Go to your control panel and open the sound options. Right click on your active device (Has a green tick on it) and select properties. Go to the Advanced tab and from the drop down menu select "24bit 44100 Hz (Studio quality)". Click Ok. If that doesn't work, then it's probably a problem with the headset. Try another one or try fiddling with the settings of the headset.

nosisab
That seems related with the center channel, if using headsets and the sound board is set to 5.1 or 7.1, this is likely to occurs. To solve the problem change the sound driver to headset mode if you have that option (most sound drivers have it). If it is not there try changing to stereo mode while playing the game. Some Sound Drivers (like Creative) do have an automatic sensor for headsets but to work it must be plugged into a frontal panel (which is not always provided or does not follow the expected standard). Sometimes enabling CMSS 3D may resolve the issue. The hint is the center channel is not being sent to the headset (when it is done the sound is equally shared to both earphones).
