stebo104
Anyone know when or even if there will be a Mod Organizer for SSE? I'm currently using NNM and it sucks (files/textures overwriten 2-15 times, cluttered data folder, mod update takes way too long as got to uninstall every single mod that would overwrite a file [then reinstall themn]). Now for small mod lists like I currently have for SSE it an't too bad, but for big ones like I got for reg Skyrim (80+ mods, or even the 190+ mod lists some people have) this really becomes a problem. Yes it is a advanced mod manager program, as you can do soo much with it, but at the same time it's easy enough to use on a basic level that anyone can use it. So where is Mod Organizer for SSE? StarscreamSWE
Nowhere/Never. Read the latest news. A more helpful answere would be to just link the "latest" news.Honestly I don't know where to look for this info myself, but what it comes down to and Im not sure about this either is that one the guys or the guy perhaps working with MO decided to join NMM. That's what i read somewhere anyhow.
Ethreon
Or you could go to main website, choose any game to be able to see the latest website news and scroll down a bit. It's even on the same page http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/news/12905/?
StarscreamSWE
First off your latest news are 2 weeks +1 day old. Secondarily It's NOT featured on SSE section at all. Thirdly, thanks for the link sorry for stealing your time!
QuagaarWarrior
I'm currently using Mod Organiser 2 for SSE. Several of the features dont work but it still allows me to install mods, see what overrides what and (most importantly) to have different profiles. strawbqwerty
A up date to the above post, sort of. There is on the Skyrim special edition Nexus site a patch for Mod organizer 2. This resolves some issues. You can with this patch associate with the nexus site and down load through the manager. The version/ mod info is also obtained through mod organizer. You do not have to set it up as a portable install. Just have to select where you want your mods etc etc kept. You can run loot and it now adjusts your plugin list. No more manual sorting. Once your have got to the main start window of skyrim click on mods. You will now see that mod manager and sky rim are now synced and are the same plug in list order. The person that has created the patch has taken on the task of creating a new mod organizer that should be fully functional. At the present it is very usable. BlueGunk
I tried MO2 plus patch for SSE - it went very well for a time until FNIS (which specifically does not support MO2 so fair enough I was warned) exploded. I got major corruption in the Steam folders and had to reload a load of stuff.I went back to NMM and will stick with it until the new version comes out. So in my experience, the dangers of major failure through MO2 are too risky for a game. I'd hold on. If you want to pursue MO2 see: http://www.predcaliber.com/kopie-van-skyrim
