DrakeDarkblade
Having just completed "No one escapes Cidna Mine" and having sided with the forsworn, I thought it would interesting that if you become you could talk to Madanach and he would give a chain of quests that allow you to fight for him. In the end you either betray him luring the forsworn into a trap that causes them to no longer have any chance of future victory, or the forsworn once more have control of the reach. New buildings dedicated to the old gods could appear while the temples of the divine would be desecrated. New quests could spring up related to the old gods, and there could be defense quests as the stormcloaks and the empire both try to stack claim to the reach once more. I am no modder and have not the skill for such a complex storyline mod. It would probably have to wait till the CK comes out, but if possible I personally think it would be a great continuation of a story that I felt only started when "No one escapes Cidna Mine" ended. Personally, I think this idea is cool and think it could also be a starting option for the player. Why couldn't the sweep that netted Ulfric have captured a Forsworn as well? Base the execution dialogue on Nord (since all Forsworn are Nords, are they not?) I think having the various Forsworn camps be "cities" that offer the commerce and quest hubs for the Forsworn would be sweet. [*} Forsworn cities (maybe in or an offshoot of Blackreach?)[*] Forsworn specific quests in the existing architecture[*] More forsworn weapons and armors.[*] Forsworn specific spells
NorthernMonkey
The Forsworn are actually Bretons. But yes, I support this. Or at least, after you've saved their King from prison, they could have the decency to not try to kill you on sight. On another note; The Forsworn need an aesthetic overhaul. Judging from their names(Madanach, Druach, Cosrach, Ainethach), they were inspired by ancient Celtic tribes, and I think their appearance(specifically, their armor and weapons) should mirror that. Thanks for the correction. And I'd love to see an overhaul to the Forsworn to make them more Celtic. They clearly are a ritualistic/shamanistic race... there is a lot that could be done with a complete facelift.
Thoragoros
Frankly, the Forsworn are yet another example of wasted potential in Skyrim. Really, they populate most of the entire western half of the map, and yet are only directly featured in one rather bland, short questline, and radiant bounty quests. If you ask me, that was a big, big waste of space. Why populate the entire Reach with these guys if they are going to play such a minor role in...the Reach? They played more like half-naked bandits then a seperate faction with a backstory.

EasyDaragoth
And in the end they cut your heart out and put a briar hearth in with some special features. Then you get your own hargraven companion or a spriggan, while you try to awaken an old god from his slumber (Deadric or powerfull nature spirit).:)

I really really like the Forsworn, I'd love a Briarheart skin, male and female, Breton race only (only because I think nord's only should have the option of becoming Jarls/High King if mod gets created there). Only thing that kinda turns me off of the Forsworn is that there is definitely something evil about them, I mean Hagravens are pretty twisted and it looks to me that Briarheart's are undead of a certain form. Spriggans attack on sight, but they're just very protective. But hell, they come out of trees, if I could sneak attack like that....rad.
Borborygmus
i agree with almost everything said, and id like to add that a possible recurring mission/quest system could be modelled after the other guilds, but where you are sent to raid the various towns. perhaps you would have to kill a certain number of guards, or sneak into a town barracks and steal plans etc. im sure maddenach (or the voice actor who plays him and half of the other snotty characters in the game ) has supplied enough general dialogue to have happen without losing too much cohesion. RbtRvltin
Forsworn, and really bandits, are waay too ignored. Bethesda needs to let the devs actually concentrate on the game and the immersion, and not make all the modders do that. Of course, there are some awesome mods out there, and they will become 100% better once the CK is out(March? January 2013?). Anyways, I think that both bandits and Forsworn should be factions. The only way to be a badass involves stealing from innocents(Which is more just being a jerk) and murdering innocents who someone wants dead(Not much better). However, I see no reason for all those abandoned(and now inhabited) forts to serve no purpose other than a slightly more fun dungeon. And I must say, it is BS that every Briarheart I see attacks me on site instead of saying something like "thanks, you saved my king". Instead, they yell "you never should have come here!" and summon all their buddies. Both bandits and forsworn have definite ranks. In Oblivion, you had a definite rank in every faction. While Skyrim doesn't have that exactly(Which helps immersion), they have it for Draugr, Bandits, forsworn, Falmer, Dwemer constructs, and everything else. Now, I don't see a reason for us not to be able to become bandits or highwaymen, or forsworn. Just saying.
