Ok, so... I lost lydia again.... bigtime.

One of my mods interfers with lydia. Not sure which one, but it hasn't really been an issue to date. I just spawnatme a lydia when she SHOULD spawn and I go on with my life.

Problem is with my main character I told lydia to stay like a good dog, in breezehome. For some reason she left and I haven't seen her since. Cept for that one time outside of whiterun near the western watchtower.

I'm playing solo anyhow, don't need her. However, somehow, it's bothering me.

Any command to find what the correct ID's of all lydia's in the game is?

I've checked out UESP but because I spawn her manually, the hex code for her never actually comes up as it should. The base ID is correct of course but that doesn't particularly help finding MY lydia spawn. ;)

Any help appreciated.

just a tip... you should NEVER spawn more then 1 instance of a character in this game.... makes bad things happen, especially with followers.

either use placeatme or moveto commands.

As I described, it's not more than one instance.

She doesn't spawn "normally" as she should when you return to the jarl after killing the dragon. All the rest of the scene is fine. I'm made thane and whatever but lydia never spawns.

As a result, I spawn her manually.

Try this:

player.moveto 000A2C8E

That should take you right to where she is hiding.

Pretty sure you can't move to a base ID because it's just a reference for making more of her. The in-game ID (Object Reference or RefID) is what I need a way of looking up. Base ID and Object Reference are two seperate things.

Base ID is used for referencing a particular object so you can spawn them. Lydia is always a2c8e.

Object Reference is given to each object in the game as it's spawned. So, my lydia might be ff000ea2 for instance. But I don't know for certain. THIS is the value you can moveto because it's unique for my particular Lydia.

THIS is what I'd love a way of looking up - which is indeed my question.

If you can't find the actor, you won't be able to get their refid at this point. Normally you could use the CS, but obviously that's out. Unless someone manages to scrape a mod together for you I don't see any solution till January.
