Goodfortitude
Hi all, been a few months since I was here last. Anyway, I am trying to get some new Oblivion Mods, but the login screen doesn't seem to want to let me in to the member's area. I have an account under goodfortitude, but when I put in the correct password it just keeps looping back around or redirecting to the login screen. Anyone have any Ideas? I've tried quite a few times now.
wizardmirth
I previously had this problem with trying to comment on and rate mods. Make sure you aren't using an outdated link. There may have been some changes since you were last there. If going through www.tessnexus.com doesn't work then it might possibly require the attention of an admin or you may just have to create a new account. Goodfortitude
Thanks for the quick response Wizardmirth. Yeah, I am using the standard login button at the top of the screen at the Tesnexus.com. When I log in it just "ignores" me. Or, loops back around to the same screen. I did try to create a new login already, however I never received my email to activate account. I tried the lost password approach and did not receive an email for that one either. Not sure what to do.
Goodfortitude
Sigh...Now it just keeps looping me back to the webmaster's mini blog. What the heck. Some times I get this message: "The verfication code you entered did not match with the text in the image. Please try again." but, there is no text image showing up on the login page anywhere in the first place. Wow, now it's taking me to the search results page. wizardmirth
You have to enter the picture code in order to complete registration. Make sure pics are enabled in your browser settings. I'm not sure what else the problem could be. If all else fails try contacting one of the admins.

Goodfortitude
two different accounts, right? One's for this forum, "thenexusforums.com" the other is for tesnexus.com . Atleast that's how they often work.
Dark0ne
Just different login systems. Accounts are the same. Sounds to me like you have a cookie issue. TESNexus needs your browser/firewall/whatever else you have that might block cookies to accept cookies. If the cookie can't get created then you will not be able to login. Goodfortitude
Thanks Dark0ne for the help. I had hoped you would respond to my post. I did what you said. Actually, I figured that you had nailed it. But, I enabled the cookies in my firefox (they were already) and enabled them in internet exporer, then I shut down my firewall completely. I tried it in both browsers. It would still just bring me to the Home page. It didn't tell me that my login name or password were wrong, atleast. Maybe, I'm mis-understanding something, but I would think that some type of user interface screen/menu would come up once I log in properly right? Dark0ne
Depending on what page you're on the login system will redirect you back to the page you were on before logging in for convenience. You can see whether you're logged in or not by looking at the side navigation. A new box should appear with some of your account info. Similarly the "login" links will have changed to "logout".
