Here's to Lydia

Lydia was old and in the way. Well, maybe not so old, but always in the way. She fought valiantly along side of my fire *censored*, when I couldn't be bothered to. She always told me that she'd carry my burdens, even if it meant her death. She never scaled a mountain, but somehow always ended up by my side. All things must come to an end. It's time to let her die, and move on. She met her death in Volunruud, and there she will stay. No save game will bring her back, this time.

This thread is for everyone to pay their respects to their Lydia. Carry on.

I'll miss her incessant whining

Her walking into traps

I will long be pining

For all her "my thane" crap

She trapped me inside rooms

She wouldn't ****ing move

Out of the goddamn way

So I killed her

The first four lines rhymed nicely. The last four, not so much.

Continuing on with the rhyming...

Oh Lydia you've fallen

And now you can't get up

But never fear,

for I am here,

you stupid housecarl slu-...

Ehem.

Er, anyway. R.I.P Lydia...

Oh, Palasilva, I understand. I told her to stay, while I toyed with a weary dragon, like a cat and mouse game. She had to rush in for the final blow with her arrow anyway. It pissed me off, so I shouted her to death. Boy, was I mad. Yet, I feel a sense of loss now that she's gone by the hand of a Draugr Scourge, instead of my own.

She was always jealous of my Flame Altronach. Gave me dirty looks every time I summoned it.
