Let me just say this first,im new here and i am not really ranting at the users of this forum. You guys are really great with intelligent and sensible arguments about Skyrim, well as far as i know atleast.. That being said....

what is wrong with all these idiots complaining about a couple of bugs. DO YOU REALIZE HOW BIG THIS GAME IS. Of course there are going to be bugs, and there always will. Beth works their asses of just for the gamers sake. There is no other company i love more than Beth, (and valuve and rockstar). Some games dont even have 30 hours of playtime. Beth games have hundreds, EVERY SINGLE GAME HAS HUNDREDS OF HOURS OF PLAYTIME. So why do people complain about a company that pours out there hearts and souls into each game. FYI skyrim's soundtrack has brought tears to my eyes. The only other game soundtrack more beautiful is final fantasy series. Nobou Uematsu is a beast.

And that's where you lose me.

So, to clarify: We're not talking about a labor of love but about a labor of profit. A game produced by a game developer is on the market to make money. It's not something given freely out of the goodness of anyone's heart.

A game is a PRODUCT. And regardless if you paid for it or if the money came out of mommies pocket. Someone still paid.

Were there a ton of bugs in Blizzard Games?

Since we bought and paid for a product, it should work shouldn't it?

According to you, we shouldn't complain about ANYTHING we buy that's faulty right?

Bethesda actually ADDED bugs in their 1.2 patch by removing Elemental Resistance and had Dragons Flying backwards.

Sorry, but when I pay for a product I expect it to work fully, being complacent and defending Bethesda doesn't help them make better games,

giving them feedback and bug reports does.

There are some bugs that have existed across the gamebryo engine that happened in Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Now Skyrim, like

the elastic flying creatures

I never had any major bugs in oblivion nor fallout 3 but with skyrim, the game is unplayable thanks to this last patch and believe me it´s not mods as I tested it for days with and without mods.I just hoping that this new patch might fix whatever is crashing my game and if not well, I lost money cause I can´t return it -.-

People complain because Bethesda continue to repeat mistakes, do not appear to quality check the patches that fix the bugs and consequently often make matters worse. They complain because Bethesda basically released a game that was not finished, and because Bethesda did not appear to realise that most PC players have more than 2Gb RAM because even according to a poll on their official forums, the most common OS for Skyrim PC gamers seems to be Win7 64 bit, hence they need >2Gb RAM. They should have enabled the LAA flag from the start, it's not hard, and it surely would not have been too much to ask for a 64 bit exe as well as a 32 bit one (given the fact that other games have had this.)

I have never had to console so many quests with any other game as I have with Skyrim. But worse than this, some players are experiencing hard PC resets which is a really serious bug that isn't going to do their rig any good.

Bethesda allowed themselves to be nailed to an eyecatching release date of 11-11-11 and felt compelled to release Skyrim before it was ready, rather than doing a Blizzard and not naming the day until the game is ready. (I have not had any probs with Blizzard games either....)

This is acceptable for a commercial product?

well maybe its the pc version that sucks because my ps3 version has only encountered about three or four bugs, and i have about 50 hours of playtime.

Well maybe, but a little hint ....

To call people complaining about flaws in a product they paid for "idiots" isn't a sure way to make friends. That, the abundant use of caps lock and defending the producing company as if they were your personal friends, automatically let me assume you're on some console and rather young.

Maybe I'm prejudiced, I don't know.
