mods not working in fallout4 1.4.125

I had instaled latest vesion of fallout 4 and i wasnt able to run mod in nexus manager so have downgraded fallout 4 to version 1.4.125 and mods also dont work. I have enable modding Fallout4Custom.ini. In the past the same mods where working in this version of the game

I'm not sure why you downgraded to such an extremely old version, but there was a version sometime after the one you chose where Bethesda changed the way mods are enabled. So if you want to use a mod manager you'll have to use a later version.

You'll need v1.5 (or later), as that's the version that changed the way plug-ins are added.

I have upgraded back to latest verson and i'm still unable to run any mods with nexus manager game is crashing.

Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) manages your mods. It doesn't make a game crash.

 

And what exactly do you mean by "crashing"? Does the game start but crashes during start-up, or is the crash happening during gameplay?

 

Be as specific as possible and give as much info as you can when seeking help, please... we don't have a crystal ball. :smile:
