I need someone who is experienced in how to set up a proper load order for me:

This is what I currently have installed:

00 Skyrim.esm
01 Update.esm
02 Dawnguard.esm
03 Hearthfires.esm
04 Dragonborn.esm
05 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp
06 HighResTexturePack01.esp
07 HighResTexturePack02.esp
08 HighResTexturePack03.esp
09 Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp

[i reckon the above is correct and does not need to change]

[my question pertains to the following mods in my loadorder:]

0A RaceMenu.esp
0B RaceMenuPlugin.esp
0C XPMSE.esp
0D FNIS.esp
0E FNISspells.esp
0F SkyUI.esp
10 Dual Sheath Redux.esp
11 dD - Realistic Ragdoll Force - Realistic.esp [assets overwritten by assets from XMPSE]
12 dD-No Spinning Death Animation.esp
13 dbbetterf.esp
14 Dead Body Collision.esp
15 Paralysis.esp
16 CalienteVanillaArmorTweaks.esp
17 RiverwoodStorageChest.esp
18 For the Brotherhood Daggers.esp

19 Dragon Knowledge Spell.esp

1C Doomshard Bow.esp
1D Talon of Akatosh.esp
1E Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp [cannot be moved either up or down in the NMM Load Order]

Try running LOOT

It says almost all of the official master files need some cleaning with TES5Edit; otherwise it leaves the loadorder unchanged -does that mean I'm good to go?

Did you actually tell it to go through with the changes it made? LOOT will rearrange them first and then show you what it did, but you have to hit "Apply" for the changes to have an effect.

As far as the cleaning message goes, you will have to use TES5Edit to do that. It's not difficult. Here's an article on how to do that.

Basically, load the mods to be cleaned, but one at a time (meaning, only the mod to be cleaned and any master it might need). Right click the file, select "Apply Filter for Cleaning" and let the program run for a minute. There are two basic types of automatic cleaning for most mods. The first is to remove identical records. Right click the mod and select that option ("Remove Identical to Master"), let it do its work. The second thing is to right click and select "Undelete and Disable References".

This will take care of two of the issues that will come up in LOOT-the identical records and the deleted references. Deleted Navmeshes is another error that might come up, but that takes a bit more work to do. Before you clean any mod, check the list of mods NOT to clean (they call them "intentional dirty edits") to make sure the records aren't meant to be there. The site in the link I posted above is the best place to get a start on cleaning mods and it has pages for the official DLC as well.

I ran LOOT again and clicked the Sort Plugins option; my load order changes only a little -only a few plugins were allotted a different position.

Exit LOOT.

Used TES5Edit as per the instructions found in your link.

New LOOT now states 0 Warnings, 0 Errors and 0 Dirty Plugins and no changes to load order.

[earlier I had at least 4 dirty plugins ]

Do I need to start a new game?

After you Sort Plugins, remember to hit Apply, or LOOT's changes don't take effect.

I ran LOOT, and it always miss-sorts Guard Armor Replacer and Bijin Warmaidens, among other mods (like the Heavy Legion and HDT BBP physics mods), and causes major issues. I had to manually force them to sort where they are (near the bottom) to get them to work: it will do this even if I DON'T click "apply changes". i don't use Mod Organizer because it forced me to change my Nexus password and then refused to recognize my new password after i confirmed it: then I couldn't install mods anymore and had to go back to Vortex and make it the prime modding source again

I'm not a modder and don't know what I'm doing wrong
