jdsnics
Really the whole idea of a flintlock pistol or musket in the game would be an interesting idea; it's still the fact that the game really doesn't have any animation that supports guns, and I know some would try and replace the bow animation and put a gun on it but it still looks horribly animated. Oh I bet someone can create some good animations for it. - but I still wouldn't be surprised that Bethesda would be going that way by pointing a finger at the Empire collapsing - it's cheap but true. SwampyTroll
I don't think animation's a problem. The motion of a flintlock is really simple.
ghosu
The animation itself is no problem jeah but the question is, if you can add new (real) ones to Skyrim (not like those idle animations in Oblivion)
SwampyTroll
I'm sure you could. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible in the first place.
ghosu
Why wasn't it possible then in Oblivion :D ?
pwnedbyscope
i belive you can/ are going to be able to in skyrim, if im not mistaken there is already a tool out to edit the animations or what ever, so when the new ck is released if beth has learned anything from the past games they will enable creation of new animations
ghosu
Lets hope so, otherwise i will trash my musket :D
SwampyTroll
Even if it seems hopeless, don't trash the musket. Ultimately, it comes down to what people are willing to do. Skyrim has a bigger user base than Oblivion already. I'm sure we gained a few talented minds here and there.
Deleted1308005User
Well, if guns won't succeed, attach a blade to your musket and make it an axe!  Actually that would be kinda funny. How is dragonborn supposed to know how to use such an fine item made by dwemers? But I really wish we are able to get some muskets/crossbows and such in game! Pulling back the flint, pulling the trigger. I'm sure the Dovahkiin can figure it out. ;)
