ghosu
Hi I'm using Cinema 4D so i don't have the option to use a nif ex/importer like with Max...so is there anyone that EVER managed to import something from C4D using Nifskope? If yes - which version you used? I mean i use exactly the versions listed in the tutorial (even the Youtube ones) BUT when i use Nifskope some branches of the original are just missing...like lightening shade and that drives me crazy because i can't go on with the tutorials. Atm i try to replace the Daedric 1h sword.I will redownload all tools and skripts once again to ensure that nothing got f*cked up...hope that will work. I can post pictures of all options to find the error but first it would be nice IF someone could help. greetings Edited January 5, 2012 by ghosu
Ghogiel
export an obj. open daedric sword in nifskopeselect the NiTrishape block for the sword.File>import>obj?????profit you will probably need to fix tangent space vectors, just make sue has normals is set to yes, num UV sets is 4097, spells>batch>update tangent space. ghosu
My problem is...i got a few errors when opening the original sword in nifskope and the blocks on the left are different to the stuff displayed in tutorials: http://666kb.com/i/c04tomtinyl5si6y0.jpg So i guess you mean trishape (29)?And the textures? Ghogiel
yes that would be the trishape in question. However your nifskope is not working correctly and if you want to edit nifs, you need to figure out what is up with that first or you might be wasting time trying to find square pegs in a round hole...
