I am a terrible teacher - I am horribly impatient with people. If I explain something once and the person I am explaining to doesn't "get it", I get annoyed and tell them to go find a tutorial on the web. :P My sister is a good example of people who annoy me - I don't even bother to explain things to her anymore, I give her an address for a site with a tutorial.

 

Giving you links and pointing you to the files is easy, especially since I have them bookmarked. Telling you what to do to mod? You'd want to kill me in minutes, guaranteed. :)

Then I noticed your chat-ban rant...which made me think I should just go ahead and upgrade to you a full account-ban because you clearly do not know the rules of this site.

 

When you clicked the chat link, you were presented with a few key pointers most everyone ignores when entering the chat room...the most important being colored in bright read to get your attention...which apparently does not work. Here it is since you missed it (and are now greeted with a "too late, you're banned" message instead of the chat rules when you click the chat link now)

 

Note: this is not a support chat. This is a general chat about anything and everything (within the rules) that our members want to talk about. If you ask troubleshooting questions here don't expect (or demand) an answer. Ask nicely and someone might answer you (if they know the answer) but don't expect an answer and don't continually repeat your question.

 

Believe it or not, but the vast majority of the millions of members subscribed to the Nexus are not modders and do not know the answers to your modding questions. Even if you do get ahold of a modder, they may not know or have experience in the area you are interested in. For example, I know quite a bit about scripting..but not every bit. I know quite a bit about Blender...but if you ask me about animations, I won't have much of a clue...because I've never been that interested in it...or at least not up to this point. The forums are actually the absolute best place to get direct answers to your modding questions since they are seen by many more modders (however, there are typically many tutorials the cover the subject). Many modders avoid the chat room to avoid the millions of questions potentially waiting for them. ;) That is the reason why we have that particular note on the chat login page...not because we don't want you getting support...it simply is not the best way of going about getting it.

i apologize again, i didn't mean to offend, and like i've stated several times to the others within the chat, i actually have read the ToS and the quick list of rules in the chat link, which is why i posted what i did, i would get people telling me what i was saying is against the ToS and when i stated that what they accuse me of is not in the ToS they cry to an admin and i get kicked, one admin started randomly kicking people a couple days ago, and i guess he just decided to ban me, idk who banned me, i really don't feel any bit of anger about it, i just was confused cuz people were making up their own rules for the chat, and seemed like everyone was cool with it. there were numerous occasions where people were outrageously abusing the chat (breaking the cardinal rules just before entering the chat) and no one even took a hint of notice about it.

 

Blender issues-

i went off the deep end, i admit, i was furious with the runaround i got from trying to use Blender for modding. i'd install the version of Python listed in the thread and PyFFI would say i need a newer one, then i get a newer one and Blender would say i need a newer version of PyFFI, then i do that and PyFFI would say i need an older version of Python... SOOO... after a whole day of that headache, i'm sorry, i admit it, i broke down, fully ban me if you want, but when you do, don't say i was breaking the rules, the only thing i did was try. the only thing i have done here that is somewhat out of line is, i believe now that this thread is in the wrong subject area when i created it, and i have no idea how to fix that.

better late than never is my motto, and i respect you for saying something rather than nothing. If i knew there was going to be an indictment upon my moment of instability, i would have recorded the chat log that day, as proof of my innocence. only once did i ask for modding help in the chat, i was notified on the spot that its not a support group chat, which i then respected, apologized and moved on. I would like to make a humble request though, in the ToS may there be an amendment to it stating that CAPS LOCK is a form of spam and that it is not allowed, otherwise typing in caps is not against the ToS. i only say this because not always do i notice the caps lock being on, the military uses caps for everything, it prevents misreading and is a standard for law enforcement too, my father almost always writes in caps, its something he picked up from being a police officer, and its something i picked up from being in the US ARMY.

 

Conclusion-

i understand that this site is more geared towards two types of individuals, the kids, and the pervert shut ins, i'm among the pervert shut ins, so i often forget there is a G rated community here. (forgot it even more so in the chat, there needs to be a rating on there thats above PG) if you find it within the best interests of the site and community to have me be banned then i will accept that and move on, my only regret will be that i wasn't able to pay back the community properly by my own morals. and if i am to be banned then may my restyle of the daedric armor be delivered to Caliente. I have tried my greatest to make up for my short comings for the first post, i wont delete it, cuz that would be lying, and i don't want to lie to a great community, i said it, i know i was wrong, why should i hide it? (granted only one thing was wrong in it but still it was said) I have on multiple occasions apologized for my indecent act of noobish behavior. (apologizing once would be more than what i seen by others in the chat)

you must have missed all the many skyrim specific blocks that are defined in that xml. The most obvious would be the version numbers line 32...

 

saying that, atm you can just use the latest nifskope version package and disregard that xml

it would also make sense, cuz when i loaded that XML into NIFSkope it had tons of load up errors.

Since you claimed to have read the ToS BEFORE making this thread, you should have known that questioning a staff member's actions in public is not allowed. If you have a problem, contact the staff member or an admin to get answers.

You typed an entire sentence in all caps...what you got was two people asking you to not to use all caps and both used the word "please." Your response? A snide comment saying that all caps was not in the ToS in the very same minute...meaning you did not have time to go review this seemingly obscure rule. Oh, that's right, you witnessed someone being kicked for all caps a couple days earlier...oh, and you were kicked as well because you did the exact same thing not one minute after buddah explained that she was kicked for using cap locks. You sir are a trouble-maker. After that incident, you crawled all over the ToS looking for a caps lock rule and when you didn't find one, you made it your mission to obsess about it and begin your campaign of lies.

Another lie. I might have leaned towards simple ignorance but given your actions, I am certain this is just a lie. Of the times you were in chat, EVERYONE breaking the rules were punished almost immediately...some were banned completely from the site shortly after leaving the chat (trying to escape punishment).

Sorry, I'm not buying this one. You are a liar and I have the evidence to prove it. No, I'm not talking about the existence of a caps rule, I'm talking about your knowledge that it is not allowed. This was demonstrated in front of you with a member being kicked right before your eyes (I know you saw it because you LAUGHED at her) and for whatever reason, you decided to do the exact same thing and...OMG...you were temporarily kicked out of chat too. But when you came back, you didn't learn your lesson...noooooo...you made false accusations and were promptly set straight by just about everyone in the chat including the Admin you accused and a Moderator!
