Want To Help MWSource? *UPDATED*

***UPDATE***

If you're reading this before reading the actual post, read the post first, then this.

I read through the Google FAQ a bit more extensively and it seems if the google bots can't find the right ads for a page (ads are determined by page content, so if I had a page with "Free Hosting" written everywhere, it would no doubt produce ads for free hosting) then they show "free ads" or "charity ads" for which MWSource receives no payment.

So, if Google can't find an ad for a page, I've replaced the ads with the MWSource banner - so if, when it comes to click on the ads, there's a banner there instead you know why - pages I've tried and have had advertising include "Interviews", "Open FTP" and "Search". This isn't because I'm mean towards charity, just that it saves any misconceptions!

Thankyou again.

***UPDATE***

Hey folks,

Some of you may have noticed I've added Google Ads to the site and forums. Seems MWSource is taking up a lot of space and a lot of bandwidth (who'd have thought they'd go hand it hand ;)). This means its that time of the site's life when it needs to spread its wings and expand onto a new server.

Now I know what some of you are thinking "hang on, I'm sure I remember MWSource being hosted by Gaming Source. True, it is. I even own the company but I don't think I can justify MWSource and its friends taking up a whole server (which is what I intend to do) to my superiors. As you all know, I plan on setting aside 100GB of bandwidth for the MEMod, I'm now upping that to 200GB, but I need your help (heck, if it takes off I'll up it to 300, 400 et cetera).

The google ads run on a 24 hour session cycle so that once a user clicks on a google ad, MWSource won't get money from the advertiser for another 24 hours. This is where I request that any able bodied (or handed) person please click on a google ad either on the forum or the site ONCE when you access the site in the morning (or the first time in a day). You don't even have to look around the site you visit, or do anything else except click one of the two links and wait for the site to load. The sites are clean and respectable, so you needn't worry about that.

Show your support for Morrowind Source. It doesn't cost you a dime/penny and takes 10 seconds of your time per 24 hours; I think its worth it for the service MWSource is offering you.

Thank you.

PS. To give you a rough guideline of the amount of clicks needed; if every member of the forums (that is, all 30,000 of them) were to click on a google ad once in a day, I'd more than likely (not definite, Cost Per Click (CPC) varies) make enough for 5 servers and to pay my moderators UK minimum wage for their hours ;)

ive already clicked 2 times.....although.....they were both FTP sites or something.....quite odd.

nevertheless, i shall click on the adds more than 5 times a day, since its supporting this site, and admit it everyone, you dont come across a site this good anymore.
