Exodus1161
I didnt like having to kill all my DB friends for being ''traitors'', they all liked me, need to resurrect them so theres more than 2 mindless npc's walking around an empty cave for the rest of the DB days

Ihoe
in my opinion the worst part was Killing Rufio... Many of us Don't know the story Behind rufio so Here you go: "Cladius Arcadia", the man In the imperial prison Arranged Rufio's assassination. Caught when Arranging that assassination, the imperial Soldiers Threw his ass to prison. why he arranged that?If the player accuses Rufio in that Dark brotherhood quest "The Knife in the Dark" of having done something to deserve death, Rufio makes the following comment: No! Please! I didn't mean to do it, you understand me? She struggled! I... I told her to just stay still, but she wouldn't listen! I had no choice! This may mean that Rufio accidentally killed Claudius Arcadia's wife or daughter when he had a struggled with her (attempted to rape her). This shows that Rufio is far from the innocent old man he appears to be, and Claudius Arcadia is not wholly evil. This is quite possibly one of the darkest side stories in Oblivion, though most players will probably not talk to Rufio before killing him, and therefore never realize what he had done. I found it in Claudius's Journal:Entry 3: It worked! Last night I was visited by someone, a representative from the Dark Brotherhood! The Night Mother heard my prayers! The money was exchanged, and the man promised me I would have satisfaction. I don't know where he's hiding, and neither does the Dark Brotherhood, but as soon as he's located, Rufio will die! Why this is the worst part is that The Background of this Assassination remains Uncompleted to novice and amateur players. so such Dark and intresting "Chain of events" story remains hidden to certain users. I investigated this because I wanted to know Why that Rufio, innocent looking old man (which he was not) had to be killed and What assassination did "Claudius Arcadia" arrange. I hope this Helps Anyone Looking for Dark brotherhood backstory. Cheers,IHOE and know that oblivion is filled with interesting things like this, another one is the horror of "Dive Rock"
Kalas_Ragnarok
It's a bit difficult to answer because it changed a bit for me every time I experienced the game. So I'll talk about the first time when I didn't know anything about the game beforehand :) I didn't like killing the members except the Khajit who I decided to suspect to be the traitor.and I didn't like killing Lucien Lachance... The biggest surprise for me was that I had killed half of the main instance of the DB xD That, that was funny ^^The rest of the kills of my characters were more or less like : no justice, no judging. Once a target was down it didn't existed anymore so no need to turn back and have a look (I just felt a bit sorry for baenlin's bodyguard when you meet him at Olav inn ;p )
Sarpedon
I hated that even if you figured out that you were getting the wrong orders, you couldn't really do anything. If you look closely in the boxing khajit's house, you can find his friggin black hand robe.
Lord Barkmann
My worst moment was seeing that Lucien Lachance was dead, he to be was like the best DB member :verymad:
Ihoe
Wow so many people seem to like the Khajitt in the sanctuary, believe me I think he was the Traitor. yes if we look at it this way: after you kill "Philida" he doesn't seem to change anyway if that's the case, saying "You've done so many Things for...". he Actually says that after everybody Knows that "Lucian" gives secret order to meet him in fort "faragut" for an Important matter, so concerning this, the traitor realizes his cover is blown so he changes his stance with the player, from an insulting enemy to a Friend. seems suspicious to me...But it is a bad part, thus killing your Fellow mates for a Khajitt Traitor, and male without a father seems unfair and linear in my opinion.
