Tracelog Error

I was downloading mods for Fallout 4 and I downloaded a few mods. But as I was downloading a mod, a message pops up saying there has been an error with the tracelog file and it cannot proceed with the mod installation. But I'm not computer smart so I don't know what the heck it means. So I let it take me to the files and look at it dumbfounded and just close the window, and NMM crashes. I open it again, resume the download, same thing happens again, crashes. Now I was getting really irritated. I searched ALL OVER THE INTERNET for a solution. But all I find is a ton more people with the same error. And no one's problem has been fixed.

NO ONE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON...

It's strange because the internet is so big and expansive and there isn't one tracelog error report with a solution. It's really strange.

So my question is; what the hell is going on? Where is the support team on this?

I've tried everything there was to try. I reinstalled NMM AND Fallout 4 twice, ran NMM as administrator, unchecked the box that made it a read-only file, rescanned the games, I even deleted all the tracelog files as someone had said. But none of these solutions worked and no one was happy ever again...

Is anyone going to help me? Most of these reports only get a bunch of replies and no solution. It's really odd. I honestly feel like the community is hiding something.

PLEASE HELP ME

Also remember that I'm not computer smart at all so I don't necessarily understand file names and stuff like that. Only basic stuff. So a bunch of binary codes or something like that is something I will not understand.

For those of you who are reading this, thanks for your concerns. Lets get to the bottom of this error!

Googled with keywords fo4 mod download tracelog error and this Nexus topic came up first, of which I copy paste an answer here... So far for your ALL OVER THE INTERNET search, eh?

I fixed the problem guys! The problem is that the Nexus Mod Manager has become a hidden or read only file. To fix this go to Computer/LocalDisk C/Users/Username/AppData/Local In the local file find the Black_Tree_Gaming folder.Right click on the folder and click properties and uncheck read only and hidden then click apply. Have it applied to all files. There ya go!

Note: if you cant find any of the files they may be hidden. To fix this, go to Control Panel / Appearance and Personalization / Folder Options / View then click the show hidden files and apply.

Hope this helped!
