Lateraliss
I've been searching and searching through animation files, looking for the file that is the script for making NPCs look at the character or other NPCs in the face as they walk by. What I want to do is give that same animation to the player character. It bugs me to no end that these NPCs are giving you important quests, and you're staring at the wall. To me it would add immensely more immersion to this near immaculate game. I'm kind of at a stand still here, so is there anyone that would be willing to make this, willing to point me to the right file, or any general idea on how to get this to work? Unfortunately I don't have any advice as of how to find this, but I figure I should give this thread a little bump and say I think this is a great idea. Rabbit1251
Same here. It's the first thing that I want to look into when the Creation Kit becomes available. I really, really miss that from Oblivion. Rabbit
nosisab
This can be done but must be done carefully. The best solution would be giving the player the control of the PC still not allowing the PC to scape the range of conversation for it could be important quests breaking. One the reasons to be careful are those cases you are having an important talk with someone important and comes a guard and comments about something involving arrows and body parts, That would be yet more immersion breaking than foolishly looking to the air with the face "are you talking to me?". To make things well must be created a mechanism to identify the dialog importance before tracking everyone who directs to the PC.
