ghastlyrabbit
Does anyone know how I can fix low CPU/GPU usage? I'm getting around 20-25 fps while outdoors as a result of the low usage [indoors are perfectly fine]. I'm using Process Lasso but that doesn't seem to help. In Fallout 4 with 400+ mods and ENB my CPU [AMD fx6300] is usually hovering around 90 percent usage and my GPU [GTX 1070] at 99 percent which gives me 40-55 fps outdoors so my hardware shouldn't be the problem. I'm not familiar with Skyrim modding and tweaking so I don't know how to fix my SSE usage problem. Any ideas for how I can solve the usage problem and get above 40 fps when outdoors would be greatly appreciated. Information that might help you help me: My Modlist courtesy of LOOT: http://pastebin.com/Pqvw92h8 I'm also using Nyclix's ENB-Reshade http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3352/? jjb54
Wow... you have a lot of FX mods that are eating away at your game. 1st thing to realize that Skyrim Vanilla is pretty tense as is. If it were me, having been here myself: I started to turn > OFF < FX mods that I was going, " .. do I really need this graphics / item higher rez? " Than I began to remove those 1 by 1 till I got to where my card was going, " okay, I can deal with this. " It is a subjective issue here and so it's a call you have to make. Good Luck. .. Jj ... wfandrews
That mod list does not look like it was sorted with LOOT. Did you click on the three bars in the upper right to sort and then click on apply? The reason I ask is because Alternate Start should be at the bottom of your load order. LeddBate
Also, have you cleaned your mods with TES5Edit? Be sure to read the mod's directions carefully.

code1k
AMD fx6300 that cpu is a bottleneck for a gtx1070other then that you don't give much to go on. I doubt it's a .esp mod causing it, unless you have a massive amount of heavy script or extra object mods added to the outdoors.you can lower shadow resolution to iShadowMapResolution=2048 in skyrimprefs.ini if you haven't all ready. iShadowMapResolution=4096 should increase Gpu usage but lowers fps(i get higher fps in cpu bottlenecked areas), 2048 should increase fps but lower Gpu usage. i get large fps dips with low gpu and cpu usage also but only in certain areas and looking certain directions these are drawcall bottlenecks, from what i understand this is more of a game optimization issue.Sse even being dx11 now still seems to only care about single core performance of a CPU more then having 4+cores to use.
