westernnomad
I recently converted from USKP to USLEEP and started having all sorts of anomalous problems with Skyrim, like swimming where there's no water, invisible forces pushing me away from doors, unwillingly teleporting through dragon claw gates, etc. So I decided to do a clean re-install of Skyrim and only the mods that I still want. Should I manually delete all remaining files and directories in my steam/skyrim directory, be selective, or leave them alone. I also have ENB, so at which point in my re-installation process should I install the drivers for best results?
IsharaMeradin
This guide should help you revert your game to a stock/vanilla state without having to do a complete re-install.http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again As far as ENB, you can probably do that at any point after having reverted to a stock/vanilla state. Tho I only use ENB boost, so not sure whether there are any special requirements to installing the graphic portion.
saurusmaximus
Strictly speaking, you don't have to remove your enb files if you are restoring your install as outlined in the above link (unless it has an .esp file attached), as enb runs on top of the game instead of inside it. If you do decide to remove and reinstall, I'd do it early as enboost is a handy feature to have for any skyrim install.
MotoSxorpio
If you are planning a clean install, you will eventually conclude that prior saves won't work....especially going from USKP to USLEEP....so get rid of old saves, or don't plan on using them with any reliability.Good luck.
