FalloutOrion
When I use the console command "Player.forceav meleedamage 1", it goes through, but I still do damage as normal. Im trying to raise the difficulty of the game by lowering my melee damage, but its not working? Help?
shadowfx78
I don't think that's a correct command. the forceav is correct but the meleedamage is not a valid command. To increase the challenge raise the difficulty and don't smith/improve your weapons you could also increase your level so the enemies get tougher. FalloutOrion
I'm using a bare Daedric sword, no 1 hand perks, and on master difficulty. I want to keep the Daedric sword (cause it looks bawss), do you know the correct console command? I don't think I can make the game any harder. xleileix
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes5Mod:Actor_Value_Indices this site lists the following as valid hidden stats: CritChance - your chance to score a critical hit - 0x000003F1MeleeDamage - weapon damage - 0x000003F2UnarmedDamage - hand-to-hand damage - 0x000003F3Mass - hidden stat affects stagger etc - 0x000003F4 So it appears that the command you used should be valid, but obviously it's not working... assuming that UESP is correct, that means that possibly the value scales for these stats are different. '1' could be average, or maybe it's not possible to go lower than 1. Have you tried using 0? Does anything happen when you do? I'd really like to know myself if anyone knows the value scale of these hidden stats (Min - Max values) as I want to alter them too.
Yai
If definitely works. if you check your weapon after changing the value up or down you'll notice the damage change.
