Because intelligence is obviously overrated. Wisdom is where it's at. You can have an IQ well into triple digits, but still be the stupidest person on the block. I think what we are going for here is "Common Sense". Really that's a misnomer, as it doesn't seem to be very common at all. In fact, quite the opposite, it's really quite rare. But, 'rare sense' just doesn't have quite the same ring to it.

 

People are stupid. Get enough of them together, and stupid becomes the rule of the day. Prime example: US congress...... 'nuff said.

You see it all the time: celebrities and politicians engaging in sexual shenanigans, going in and out of jail, rehab, etc., people calling 911 over Chicken McNuggets, and here on Nexus, people trolling/flaming/pirating/console modding. WTH, people? You know the rules, you know the consequences. So why does humanity insist on being as idiotic as possible at times?

I think It's much more complex than that. :biggrin:

I for one love trolls, they're the salt of the internet, flamers on the other hand are mostly misunderstood, like having double standards, the majority will always rule the minority, and the minority is always punished for the slightest of misunderstandings. I'm not going further in that regard. :whistling:

pirating is also complex, when people in a country are banned for example, by sanctions, from PLAYING GOD DAMN GAMES, ehem, pirating is norm, it gets worse, some charlatans (oh let me clearly say ALL GAME STORES) sell the pirated material, honestly, they're as honest as a charlatan can be, they label those games original. :pirate:

but i digress. console modding? as pointless as it is, what's wrong with that? why can't we mod something we payed for? I really can't care about what the (rules) EULA says. :verymad:

 

Dude, Srysly, those are the least stupid things in life. you know what's my perception on stupid stuff? not Co-Existing with other humans, the last thing us humans have after each other, is each other (!). not knowing the Value of the most mundane and trans mundane things until they're gone, that's also stupid, from my vista... :unsure:
