All the usual suspects for the females, Caliente's Beautiful bodies(if you like big butts and huge Tits heheheLOL) Dimonied UNP etc..... The males not so much maybe Better Males I'm not sure about that one I had some issues so removed it. I haven't had a look at a lot of the male modes out there. But before downloading any, have a check in the Post tab of each mod you are thinking about downloading, it give u a good idea of what's happening with the mod and some of the issues you may come across.

At the moment not running with anything for my male character but my female Followers I have "Sporty Sexy Map by Xs2reality, Better Females by Bella and Dimonized UNP female body by dimon99. The ladies look very good only downside is they are little shorties hehehe LOL

Oh I do have one mod for males and that is Better Male Presets by highonsunday. My male character doesn't look like hes been hit by carrage and then thrown off a cliff. With a bit of tweaking your male character doesn't have to look like the pretty boys, in the images on the mod page.

Other people are correct. RaceMenu and the sculpt tool is your best bet for face shape. If you have trouble with it, look at the various presets to see if there's one that's close to what you're after, and use that as a base for your own shape.

Other things that alter how a character looks are face/body textures, body meshes, hair styles/textures, eyebrows/eye retextures, and ENB.

- CBBE (NSFW) is the most popular female body mod. By default, and despite what people who haven't looked at the mod in five years would have you and others believe, the body shapes are both natural and realistic, and unlike other body mods (such as UNP and 7B) don't have fake-looking breasts or over-the-top proportions.

If you don't like the default body shapes, you can make your own with BodySlide. It also is the only body mod that has an almost-complete mod list on the page to help with finding compatible outfits/skin textures. I use the default CBBE textures (face and body, makeup, darker feminine brows), but Fair Skin by HHaley and SG Textures by HelloSanta are popular (check the mod list for others). As it was mentioned, I'd avoid 'Better Females by Bella' for face textures, other than the 'natural' version by another author, unless you happen to like female characters looking like drag-queens who haven't shaved off the stubble.

- While others may mention Schlongs of Skyrim or Shape Atlas for Men, I found that Better Males by Chris57 (NSFW) - SunDracon meshes, combined with Smooth Normals for Males by Urshi and Subtle Male Skeleton by Earrindo fits my preferences for male bodies. SoS/SAM are based on the FavouredSoul meshes, and I have never been able to get past the tree-trunk thick thighs that mesh has at the lowest weight. For face textures, I use either the 'Beardless Younger Male with Geonox' (or whatever it's called) on the Better Males page, or Fine Face Textures for Males by Urshi.

- I've never really cared for having three billion eye textures I'll never use, so generally go for a basic replacer. Natural Eyes by NevenBridge81 is that. It just replaces the default eye textures with more natural-looking ones.

- Eyebrows is up to you. Just type in 'Brows' into the search to find the ones available. I found that only 'Eyebrows Match Hair' actually does match the hair colour (the rest were either black or grey, even when the hair colour was blonde) so is the one I stuck with, and is what the CBBE brows were based on, despite not being as 'high-detail' as the others.

- For hairstyles, I use SLF Hairs by Skyrimaguas to change the default hair textures from the ugly straw to something that actually looks like hair. For my character, and the few male NPCs I mod to give a makeover, I use Apachii SkyHair. Others may recommend KS Hairdos, but for me it's too big a mod when I only want one hairstyle for my female character and a handful for some male NPCs.

- Last is ENB. This is generally a personal preference. I prefer realistic colourful presets, similar to what I see in real life, while many like having a ton of cinematic effects; gritty, grainy, dark, and always with too much DoF. Project ENB was my favourite, but it hasn't been updated in ages, so I had to change to something else. The one I use currently is Vividian ENB, but I also plan on looking at Skyrim Beautification Project ENB and VandB ENB in the future, all with DoF turned off, obviously.
