Mod packs/compilations are not allowed here (as well as being a bad idea in the first place, it's in the ToS: "Do not upload compilations of other users work irrespective of whether the authors of the work you would like to compile together have agreed to your using their work in your compilation. For example: no "my favourite mods" lists or "best weapon" compilations.").

Better to just make a 'recommended mod list' forum post or something.

the mod authors never apply and i could just have posted this on the reddit instead cuz reddit is an more effective way to make a modpack/request and of course the idea of a recommended mod list is just bad cuz i wanted people to show their favourite mods. is it a good idea to give them credit

also a fact im not actually earning money and i think that telling a mod creator that hasnt been online a long time would not be a good idea cuz mod creators often are on the creation kit or twitter and i am just upset now that i didnt know what to write and baam this took 2 hours #upset

The wording of your posts is rather confusing.

If you want people to recommend mods so you can make a 'mod pack' for your own personal use, that is fine. It's essentially a mod list.

If you want people to recommend mods so you can compile them together and release them for others, that is not fine.

Reddit is not Nexus. What you can do on another site has nothing to do with what you can do on this site. Taking a mod and releasing it without the original author's permission is theft - it does not matter if they haven't been around for years, and it doesn't matter if you give credit. No permission is no permission.
