morogoth35
I have modded and played Skyrim for about 4 years now and I know a lot about modding but I've never quite understood what exactly a bashed patch is usefull for. I've heard a lot of people saying that bashed patches are good if you have a lot of mods that change the level lists. I thought that you could choose what mods you wanted to include in a bashed patch but as far as I've seen, wryebash chooses the mods for you and there's nothing you can do about it. So my question remains: What exactly is a bashed patch good for? Is it really neccesary and when should one make a bashed patch?
lofgren
You should make a bashed patch if you use more than one mod that modifies the same leveled lists (unless you already use Mator Smash, in which case you can use that to merge levelled lists). ElioraArin
Don't assume that because a mod is ticked it will be included in the bashed patch - I have found that a mod will not be included unless it is tagged. If it isn't you can tag it yourself by right clicking in the relevant box & then selecting the appropriate tags (for example Relev adds items that the mod introduces to levelled lists & Delev will remove items that the mod has taken out of levelled lists).
