Tranquility Lane. (Simulation settlement)

Could some one please make a Pre-war Settlement "like" tranquility lane from fallout 3?

You need to get in a "simulation chair" (ex: institute chair) that teleport the player to a time before the war. We are the mayor of a big city, our wife is alive and well. The American dream maked true.

And please make it for ps4. (Saddly i don't have a gamming pc).

I'm not really sure a mod like this would be possible on PS4 due to Sony's really frustrating limitations.

Here is a budget PC you could build if you were interested. You would use your TV as a monitor, and, if you wanted to you could use your PS4 controller just fine in Steam's Big Picture Mode - just plug and play. Prices are in USD. There are tons of videos online that teach you how to build a PC. This one will beat the PS4 Pro at (almost) the same price when you include a year of PS+ into the PS4 Pro's $400 price tag. Food for thought.

Are there any quest mods that have anything close to this level of complexity on PS4? If not, then the reason is likely because it won't be possible. I would think the wall you'd run into would be the spouse, as that would likely require custom scripts. That's a 100% guess on my end though.

@kavorka99

that is an interesting question

PS4 doesn't allow a lot of complex functionality because of past incidents what with hackers and such,

so PS doesn't want to make life easy for the baddies out there and won't allow mods which could be abused hehe.

that aside,

to your mod idea...

yes, that is the kind of thing folks are looking for as a 'bounty board' or 'ambient' quest.

Memory Den or V111 quests,

settlements and new-lands that you can only access after 'hacking' etc...

we're looking into how that would function;

the console is the door to the new lands, and if you succeed, it puts a loading screen while you go to the new lands.

then, with 'settlement to anywhere',

you can make a settlement in the new-lands which is "not a settlement",

yet will still show up in your Pipboy as "Other Dwellings"

That way, preston garvey won't send you to protect your virtual settlement every five seconds,

and it will never be attacked, though it will generate supplies and settlers.

We may need new keywords and framework,

to prevent virtual settlers and things, from being transferable to the 'real' FO world outside the tranquility lounger too.

otherwise, you've solved Banach-Tarski paradox in the FO universe hehe.

In FONV, we handled that by making a container like at the Caesar's Legion outpost -

your stuff is taken off you when you go to 'Tranquility Lane", and you only have what you generate there...

your stuff is returned when you leave, and your tranquility lane stuff is stuck in a container in tranquility lane.

you could sorta cheat, by giving your companion your tranquility lane stuff and then leaving the sim,

and in the 'real-world' they'd still have whatever you gave them... hehe.

It's going to be harder to prevent the settlers being assigned to other settlements or

having caravans appear in the tranquility lane though... it can be done.

maybe, we just change the land type and exclude the area as a 'no-go-zone' like the Deathzone area or Glowing Sea...

maybe we change what the pipboy can see, and what settler menu is used in the new lands?

so, you can't input a value to move them to any other 'real' settlement...
