Crash During Main Story

I recently decided to pick up Fallout 4 again a few days ago after a few months of not touching it. I updated to the most recent edition updated my mods as well. I only installed a few additional mods this time around (ELFX, HUD Framework, Powerarmor HUD, and Everyone's best friend). Played for a whole day with no problems, then decided to go and do my main story. I first crashed when I took the elevator to the mayor's office for the key. I knew I crashed here and it was because I accidentally had a 4k texture mod on instead of the 2k texture mod from before. Missing mods in a current save game can be catastrophic as Skyrim taught me. Uninstalled the 4k texture and reinstalled the 2k and loaded a save I knew wouldnt be an issue. Everything went fine from there until I get to the area where you present the Bloody Rags to dogmeat (I have nick valentine with me, i should out- this is because of the Everyone's Best friend mod). Shortly after I go up the stairs and find the mutant dogs I crash while walking alongside the Railroad tracks.

After some research, I disable True Storms and see if it's an issue, figuring I can reactivate it when I get far enough ahead. Sure enough, I did fine. Killed the Yao some Ghouls. Right after the ghouls, however, I went into a house/store building and went upstairs and looted the fridge. Taking some glass beakers and I crashed yet again.

Things I have tried to do:

ENBoost properly configured (Had it set to 13000 MB)

FPS dynamic shadows - Shadow Boost

Uninstall True Storms

Overclocking

Reading the no-so-useful papyrus logs

At this point I am lost. If I need to start a brand new save and not add anymore mods for that save, I am ok with doing that. I can just set my level and perks back via console and play from there. I just dont want to do all that then experience this all over again. Here are my lists of Plugins/Load order, Papyrus logs, enb settings, etc. I use Nexus Mod Manager for Fallout 4. The Olpympus ENB I am using was only slightly tweaked to my liking, that being the DOF curve and such. I don't know if this is a memory issue or a save game issue (orphan scripts?), and I cannot find a save game cleaner for Fallout 4.

It may not be your issue, but I can tell you from my own experience that my game started crashing when I added ELFX, which I see you have added recently. I removed it, started over, and I'm back to my crash-free game.

I would think your Remove Interior Fog conflicts with Interiors Enhanced. That author suggests using Dynamic Interior Fog Removal instead.

Also, probably not related but just an observation that you are using all three plugins of More Grass. You need to disable two of them and just keep the one you want. Or you may want to try something like Lush Landscapes which is a little more current.

Started over as in a new save or loaded an older save?

Good catch on the grass, interiors enhanced, and Fog. It seems interiors enhanced wasn't even up to date either (despite me using LOOT). I swapped that out for the All in One version. Going to stick with More Grass, just going to keep it High enabled. I'll see if what you suggested makes a difference.

Made a new save and now I crash at the Museum. This is the load order for that save file:

Starting to think its just a memory issue at this point, but that still baffles me as I believe I have my memory allocated correctly.

Usage on idle:

What I have my memory allocated at:

Am using fallout 4 script extender even though I don't think I have any mods that require it. What's going on?

I started over as in new character. I didn't have a save without it. I had tried removing it and continuing but kept crashing trying to approach Greenetech to kill the courser.

I don't know, you have a lot of mods I've never used. I'd check the bug forums of all of those mods and see if ctds are common. May want to use a lower grass rather than the high or none at all if your system can't handle it. I always have True Storms and that's never caused me issues.

If you have FO4Edit, I'd run them all through there and see if there are any conflicts or if any of them have deleted references. If I see deleted references in a mod, I just don't use it.

Heck, there are some texture mods that can possibly cause crashes depending on how they're made, and since there's no esp, I can't see them in your mod list.

Thanks for the help, Ondrea. Found that there was an issue with dim 4k galaxy. For whatever reason it causes you to crash at certain spots in the game. Ever since I removed it I've had no crashes.

So yeah, it was Dim 4k galaxy. I also lowered some settings that didn't need to be so high.

Glad you got it worked out! Who'd have thought a sky texture could cause crashes in the Museum of Freedom, but sure enough I see others posting about it there.
