HONORARY KUDOS?

When I have already given somebody kudos and wish I could given them more, I give them 'honorary kudos'. I think of this as a positive way of saying I would like to give somebody kudos when I am unable to do so.

What do you think of this idea?

You cant afford me *he he*

In my opinion Maharg has owned one for his work in Druid's Garden as have many of the moderators here for various reasons and some members that where helpful to the site in this or that way.

Oh and I think, Sitebot naturally will beat them all again on getting the most honorary kudos.

The idea of honorary kudos is worth debating.

It is a nice way of supporting people, of boosting their confidence, when the real kudos has been spent.

It is always risky to create something and expose it in public or be brave enough to openly express one's view; honorary kudos could get people to do more of this.

Interesting suggestion, but I think the following idea might be more appropriate. (And perhaps also less, well, lets call it "bias-sensitive". There's a reason why you can only give kudos to member once after all)

  • We'll be adding an achievement system for all users for a bit of fun. So the more you use the site the more achievements you'll earn.
